nickerbelly 0 Posted March 20, 2011 Remember though size isn't everything - up until the government decided to hamstring the armed forces recently, on any major international exercise - other nations used to ask the royal navy to provide their air defence cover, including the americans!! as the fleet air arm and air defence surface vessels of the royal navy were regarded as being the most proffessional and effective in the world!, also the yanks hate going up against british subs on exercise because they nearly always lose.It is pretty impressive though!!
