XS1100 0 Posted April 2, 2011 naa I think its this A popular drink in the West Midlands, 'Brown and Mild' is a mix of half a pint of mild and a bottle of Brown Ale in a pint glass.
peejay 0 Posted April 2, 2011 It's a half pint of Bitter with a half pint bottle of Light Ale, hence "Light and Bitter" Used to be a popular drink back in the '70s - you usually ended up with over a pint 'cos in those days the half wasn't measured electronically but by pulling a pump so you'd get more than half a pint of bitter, then add the bottle of light ale
