Breaking in Leathers

Any tips?

I've got a pair, I don't normally wear leather and to be honest I'm not that keen on it. Does it improves because at the moment, its as stiff as a stiff thing on a stiff day!!

I'm sitting in them as I type, as I was told to let them warm up before moving about on them.

I don't know if I'll ever be able to get my leg over the bike Shocked

Tell me they will get better.

Keep trying you'll eventually get you're leg over thumbs. Rubbing certain oily products into it can also help Smile

Hi Rose
Take a look at this link i can't recommend this leather conditioner enough, i've used it for years on the horses tack and i also use it on my leathers.
It supples the leather as well as conditioning, as long the leather is'nt white as it can stain it is brilliant stuff. thumbs

Best applying a few days before you use them just to let it soak in well.

Go out in the rain & get them piss wet through. Ride like that for an hour then dry them as slowly as possible. They'll fit like a glove-shame you don't have five legs! Very Happy

Interested by this stuff. How many times a year do you use it? My leathers need a good clean and was about to buy some products to clean and waterproof but this may be the trick.
