new ground anchor

Recommended Posts

well i have got a ground anchor for the back of the bike and wanted one for the front, so contacted this chap on evil bay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Security-wall-ground-anchor-/230645871063?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item35b390b1d7

he didnt have what i wanted but said he could make me one to my spec.
so here it is

its massive , that is a pound coin next to it so you can see the size!

its 10mm steel with x4 bolt holes in the base .
bolted it down using these shear off bolts

chap who made the anchor for me i cant praise enough i got it made and delivered for £24 and its much better quality than the other rubbish on ebay.

I've had this unit for years but need a jack hammer to dig 6 by 4 inch hole through the concrete floor of my garage before I can sink it in.
