nickerbelly 0 Posted August 9, 2011 I saw this on another forum too, however it is doomed to failure because when you read the regulations regarding epetitions it states that you have to include precise reasons and reasoned arguments to back up your case otherwise it will simply be disregarded, so a simple "we protest" will be swiftly binned!, what it needs is a re-written petition that explains in detail the detrimental effect that anti-tampering laws will have on the biking community, and the potential loss of revenue due to motorcycle businesses failing and after-market businesses being bankrupted. Not to mention that if the government insists on following the legislation to it's letter, then all the police motorcycles in the country will become illegal vehicles!! Guest Guest Posted August 10, 2011 Petition isn't brilliant granted BUT the MAG site gives proper details and they are for it. It will go thru, inspite of the Euro and other stuff unless we do something about it. If this goes thru, we are all fubar'd - race teams, stunting, custom bikes, fighters, rats, even sticking an after market can on... not to mention Bloodrunners and the police bikes can have ANY mods. Businesses will fail and it will cost this economy millions. Now surely, that's worth emailing them and saying NO.... how can it hurt? Don't be lazy, fight for your rights.
