Simpson helmets

I was talking to a women in hein gerrick's today and she said that simpson have made a road legal helmet for our roads.
Anyone know if this is true?

simpson did do a ece22-05 euro helmet which has a larger apperture/visor than the american version if you can find one that is, if your after a simular sort of helmet try bandit or craft
