fr499y 0 Posted December 8, 2011 so much to the "light showers" for today.. not a single thing till 3pm, nice little shower which stopped as i was about to leave work.. Get almost home and it is shitting it down!!! the lake by local park is flooded and about 6ft above normal level, had to ride through foot of water to get home >< atleast i know the bike wont die off in flooded areas aye!?!?! however, i guess i need new gear. Checklist:-Boots holding water? CHECKTrousers leaking? CHECK both pairs soaked through DOH!!!Jacket? hmm, pockets are full of water but im dry???Phone? fr499y 0 Posted December 8, 2011 yeah it usually goes about 3ft above the lake up the side of the hill, but the water was far higher than normal :| and road was flooded!! fair few inches on the road everywhere else ( inc dual carrageway ) interesting ride but a hell of a lot of water in a short time!!
