I was lucky enough to see the Floyd perform this entire album at Bingley Hall. Also saw The Wall at Earl's Court. Gilmour is a great live player, great individual style too.

as you can see if you look to the left I pick the odd note or two
i have seen floyd at knebworth in the seventies and gilmour in the nineties
and I find his phrasing and ability to play the perfect note at the perfect time staggering, far superior to the "lets play every note on the fretboard twice over in the middle eight" style off some players I have seen
