WANTED: GIVI MONOKEY TOP BOX

I've got the rack on the bike, but not the box to go on it . Ideally I would like the 45l (two full face helmets fit in). If anyone hears of one at a good price, please let me know. I keep scaring myself by looking on evilbay, so may have to stop

If you could . Its the fitting for the box itself, obviously, that's the main factor. Not sure if you can make out the base plate on the photos of the bike?

I got a givi plate at home aswell for the monokey boxes so i will try it on that before taking any pics if it fits i'll give ya a shout

Hi Mike, Skelly has just sold his 1200 Bandit and I Know he took off his e52 monokey topbox its the same as mine and easily holds 2 crash helmets in. I'm not sure if he's selling them or not and I think he's at work at the moment but I'll phone him later and see what he's doing with it.

got a brand new mono lock base plate its yours if you want it,just pay the postman.throw your monokey away as lock boxes are better.and there is more choice,been there done that and i do have the t shirt

Will the base plates swap over? Pardon the ignorance but never had any luggage on a bike before this

Been looking at the web on the differences between the Monolock and Monokey, they say it's the other way round? That the Monokey are the better and more resilient boxes?

yes monokey is better than monolock, same with the boxes. besides, if you loose a key you can bust the lock off and put another on lol Sorry i didnt check the box i got, have a small case of the flu i will check for you sooner than later, just trying to get the energy to go down the shed is a bit difficult lol.

Mike phoned Alan (skelly) even though he,s bikeless at the moment he does plan on getting another in the future and would like to hang on to the top box. Hope you get sorted (wouldn't care but he lives at Acklam Middlesbrough, so delivery wouldn't of been a problem, not that it matters now! )

Tried the box i got, doesn't seem to fit the givi plate as the holes are closer together.
