fr499y 0 Posted July 16, 2012 Had the zed back on the dyno today, was running a tad rich and had a funny spot around 4-6k but fixed ( and now between the revs theres more torque and power! )https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151429023423787 <-- short sound bite of it being thrashed lol Recorded in the waiting room, next door to the garage, dyno in a little room inside the garage! so as you can probs tell it was bloody loud ( with baffles as well! )

fr499y 0 Posted July 16, 2012 wasn't happy with other place and as we all know, each dyno is different!! but, this is where the mivv's were setup on the z1000 and the BHP came out exactly the same.6,900 miles: 125.31BHP21,000 miles: 125BHP Running eco mapping for better MPG 8 years old and still producing more than it did when it left the factory, with just cans and filter. Torque is still at the 70 mark with the new cans but the power curve is pretty much as smooth as possible with these engines

ptolemyx 0 Posted July 18, 2012 That's the best gain when a bike's had the fuelling sorted on the dyno. Forget the big full throttle numbers; in the real world the improvements in mid range and smoother pulling without rough spots can be significant. Old and Disgraceful
