Oldfart 0 Posted January 23, 2013 My son drives a tower crane on the site next door for a different firm (HTC Sheffield). He rang me to tell me he was ok. Said the top of the building was in cloud. Luckily his crane is a saddle not a luffer and is only 300ft tall. The chopper blades must have been strong to sever the jib as the sections are thick. See pic of my son in the jib of a luffer.
