question for anybody around Leicester/Newark area. since the new A46 dual carriageway between Newark and Melton Mowbry's been open can you still get on the old road?

Here and there but it's a minefield, particularly if you try & use a satnav  a lot of the minor turns are now blocked off.

  with Alan , the only bits left are to get to villages , not much of it though

At least the cones have gone. Last time I was on there there were no road markings, just traffic cones
