Chadatious 0 Posted August 27, 2015 ever wonder why everything goes all wrong at once. have loads done lately all after each other and still have a knock on turning slowly, slow bumps and acceleration that i can not trace. i took it to a garage to get a new drive shaft on as that has play and i was hoping that would be the noise, and they locked the van in the workshop for the night after they went home early leaving me stranded at work 30 miles away. luckily my boss lent me a works car. now ive got it back i didnt look much but my front bumper has a massive hole and the splitter is cracked all down one side, now i looked in my front arch and there is tyre marks. well i have never driven my air with the front on the floor, so all i can think of is the garage have moved it in the morning with the air dropped and done my bumper in!looks like ill find another garage to investigate the knock if i cant find it soon. rant over! smilinjack 0 Posted August 28, 2015 Chad, does your van have those stupid plastic drop links like Peugeot which clonk like a bastard when they wear out? Otherwise, if it does it over bumps, I'd suspect the suspension arm, most likely the ball joint but possibly the bushes. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

fr499y 0 Posted August 31, 2015 I love seeing people drive with coilovers, lowered too much and the added bonus of shit loads of camber.. A few around here are taken way too far. Heads bobbing everytime they go over a rough bit of road, 5mph top speed over bumps, screaching tires going around a 'barely a corner' funny to watch! Chadatious 0 Posted September 2, 2015 took it to where i used to work recently the lad put the new bush on for me and rob diagnosed my steering rack is noisy but he said not going to damage anything or dangerous just an annoying noise but i still want it sorted.
