obalanga 0 Posted November 19, 2015 Don't you think they render ride away insurance redundant when you buy a used car? If you are expected to purchase road tax pretty much at the point of purchase and cannot obtain it with temporary insurance what is the point of ride away insurance which really is temp insurance. Normally you would drive off and spend a couple of days getting the best price (buyers market) but if you have to have it before hand ( sellers market) really turns the tables. Chadatious 0 Posted November 19, 2015 i taxed a car on a 5 day policy i did just over a week ago?
Macie_UK 0 Posted November 20, 2015 I too taxed a van on a 2 day temp policy earlier this week. Give it 24 hours until it hits the Motor Insurers Database, and DVLA pick it up to allow you to sort the tax online when you pick the motor up.But, yeah, it's a nice little earner for someone....
