Possible soul tie, in need of prayer.

I posted this in another section, I think it may be more appropriate here.


I have been working with a lady that I have been told has a "soul tie"
with me. I have some seriously strong people praying for me right now,
but I can use even more! This lady has been out of my life now for over
5 months, but I can't seem to stop being afraid of her. The reality is
she can't physically get to me, but I need prayer to rid her of any
connections with me. This was a very ungodly woman whom my spirit dealt
with at work for over a year and half. I actually took on her
personality and lost that part of my life by not going to church,
reading and studying my Bible and just being depressed. I was ans still
am being controlled somehow. Now as I am no longer working with this
person, I am back to myself again, but have a constant worry and fear
of her. She somehow still has control over me. If this makes sense to
anyone, please help me and tell me I'm not nuts! Any insight that I may
not be seeing or hearing from God would be so encouraging as myself and
others try to pray trough this daily struggle.

I am so glad you are sharing your worries here where there are people who will pray for you. I don't have the gift of discernment or interpretation, and am not familiar with the term 'soul tie,' but I feel your anguish and would like to pray for you:

Lord God, I pray you cover your child with Your loving protection and reassure this child of God that You are with them. We praise your name that they have found their way back to You, Lord and ask that You strengthen their hold as they cleave to You and ask for Your protection from evil and any bad influences that would try to avert their focus from You.

Hi Yoj6179,

I'm glad you're away from what sounds like an awful situation.. It's good you've got people praying for and with you. If you've discovered it certainly is a soul tie (ask God to be certain if that's what you're dealing with) it might be a good idea to find out if your church has a deliverance ministry and ask them to pray with you.
I'm praying for you to be freed of this. For God to (re)fill you with His love and for Him to move any hindrance or burden that has been put upon you. God bless you!

I would like to thank you both for thanking the time to help me pray for this situation. In the last week or so, I have had an overwhelming peace come upon me, and have since had the sense of release from the hold I felt they had on me. I no longer am afraid and I thank you all for your prayers!
