Yes wedding might be fun (both of us are going to keep the public pretence for bit longer) - it will be pain in backside to get there as it's somewhere north London and we live south east but I want to go for at least few hours as it's Turkish wedding (one of my work colleagues) and I might never have a chance to go to Turksish wedding again (and I've never been before).

You will have to report back all the details ... The most fun wedding that I have been to lately was one with an African theme ..... to me with my white, southern roots, it was an eye opening experience.. Have you seen the movie "Coming to America" with Eddie Murphy? The wedding in that movie, that was kind of the feel,although not nearly so grand. I knew it was going to be an experience when the wedding invatation said : African attire optional" ......

well there is no dress code for this - apart from smart but the whole wedding starts today with something called Henna (yes there will be henna tatooing involved) but I can't go as it's 6pm in North Lodnon and I finish work at 5.30 and have to go home first because of the dog and get changed so by the time I would get there would be about 8.30 and I would miss most of it.

I have been to african after wedding party in past - I used to look after 2 kids of this Nigerian family and it was fun - lovely food, lots of bright colours, their traditional music.

Yes if I make it there on 27th (it's sunday and festive period so not sure about trains and I have to take 3 trains to get there) I will report back.

Wow ... Is the wedding party going to last 5 days?? I don't know that many people that I want to see for 5 days .... I have no tatoos, but have toyed with the idea of doing a henna one during the summer.... maybe ...

NO - sorry I was being unclear - it's only today and then sunday.

well she invited people from out office but apart from the bride and groom (met him twice) I won't know anyone else

Yup Tanya, it's a coloring shampoo or something, took me only about 15mins to let in and then some care afterwards It's reddish-er and darker than what I had, but it still has to dry, so I still don't have a clue But so far, so good!

No, it's not green It's chestnut brown now, a bit reddish still and it stays 6 to 8 weeks. And it smells like apricots :good:

Ohhhh that would be great Tanya! I did have them on my computer but it got sick a few weeks ago and I lost all 120 gigs that were on there. My computer is still VERY ill and likes to crash for hours on end and really likes the BSOD. I can't do very much graphic wise on here *sigh* Her profile pic is of a chicken she painted haha:) (she has a thing for chickens!)
