Tiddly Winks 0 Posted January 6, 2010 I got invited today to join a group that offered 200 free cash coins. I am a firm believer that there is no free lunch and that this was a scam. I was just wondering if, by some act of God, if this was legit, if Playfish was endorsing it or if it's another con job that some users are coming out with to get those who want cash coins to get locked into. I ignored the invite, but still am skeptical as to whether or not that was even legit.Anyone else see this? I'd post a screen cap, but since I ignored it, I don't have it anymore. Fashionista 0 Posted January 6, 2010 I have seen those clubs too, I have been Invited but I have not joined because I am also scared about what it would be, and not beleiving that I would actually win free coins , of there was something like that there would an announcement on the official page of ps or blog! or we would get a message! I read it and thanked them for the heads up. I won't get involved in any groups now.I guess there are some that are okay, but I think I'll stick to this forum since I don't access the Playfish forum anymore. myladyyawo 0 Posted January 7, 2010 One of my ps friends posted this one her status.. apparently they can hack into your account and take your items :S WARNING: There are fake Playfish sites asking you to join to get free cash coins, these sites contain a virus that can obtain all your private information and contacts. Please don't send me a request and don't accept any links that you have been sent either!I find it best to avoid them... A lot for free isn't never a good idea lol.
