Ranks Requirement(s)

Now that we have a "stable" stats plugin, we can now use those stats for rank requirements (or not?).

I decided that everyone should have a word to say on this (if you have one).
If you don't know what the server can track, visit: Server's stats

Here are the ranks:
  1. Builder
  2. Veteran
  3. Extra Rank


Examples:
Players who has;
  • 20 hours of playtime can be promoted to Builder.
  • 100 hours of playtime and 20000+ characters said in chat can be promoted to Veteran.
  • 100 hours of playtime, over 20000 characters and blocks built+deleted can be promoted to "Extra Rank".

in my opinion

it should be 3 hours for builder which would have 2 houses

then the next rank should be 80 hours which would veteran with 4 houses, color codes, usage of warp signs

after that veteran+ which would be at 120 hours which would get 5 homes, get basic kits like food/armor/weapon which have 1w cooldowns

Color codes:
No one is able to use those because of the way towny channels work.

Warp signs:
If you don't want a specific rank to use the sign, you can tell me and I'll add a group. It works like this:

Line#;
  1. [Warp]
  2. [WarpName]
  3. [Group+]
  4. [Cost]

Well I like Z's idea,

only thing is what about classic as you know a player has to be artisan on classic to get veteran so are we dismissing it now?

that assumes classic is dead by the time we do this.
prior novice rush had a average of 7 novices at once while we were on page 1.

Players who comes into SMP doesn't want to play classic. The main idea was to keep a steady traffic between the two servers, but as we can see, they don't give a "insert swear word" about classic.

Only one person made it into classic and she's not even rookie.

I like zhuge's idea too. Except I can't do anything about per day cash.

I'm thinking about resetting/wiping everyone's rank once we get this sorted. They'll get re-promoted depending on how long they played/other reqs. The stats we have right now will be valid once I decided to reset or not.

*Those are CHARACTERS, not words. Doesn't look that much if a word if 5 characters on avg.
**Take the lowest value from Build or Destroy and multiply it by 2. Let's say I place 100 blocks, but destroyed 37123. I would have 200 for the Build requirement.

The cash requirement cannot be added.
Pupil requires one vote to make them learn how to vote.
Supporter is not a set rank. It adds to the normal rank.
Leader IS supposed to be hard to obtain.
Mods and GMs aren't chosen by stats. >_> They can both have 6 homes.
Names are not final. Just ideas to fill the blank.
(&#) = Colors

I'll wait for more suggestions or tweaks. If there's nothing or lots of people agrees (not just 2), I'll go ahead an implement it when it's ready.

50000 character is ~10000 words. Messages are ~10 words long. It's only 1000 messages in 250 hours. Seems pretty reasonable.
