We had a fab time thanks Toulouse. Little one didn't want to meet any of the characters except for Woody and Jessie from Toy Story. congratulations I think they were a bit too big for him to cope with. But he loved all the rides and stuff, especially the roller coasters!

I can understand little one, even now, when I'm older, I don't like dressed up characters, as I like to know who's underneath Laughing
Roller coasters are the best!!!

Eeek sorry, was on various calls with ED, she is marooned in the Isle of Man -
she had a real nightmare on the way there. About 8 hours late (on a 1 hour flight) She's been at the airport now for 6½ hours and they've just cancelled her flight, which is the last one of the day - she's so upset!

Boo my game wont load now and dinner's ready to be served - xxx

Hi Tanya! I will let you know if I ever manage to get to America! All I can say is that everything was so clean, tidy and pleasant, the staff were lovely and so helpful and everything looked like it had been well taken care of. I believe it opened in 1992 so it has been in use for nearly 20 years but it didn't look like it. Some of our theme parks you wouldn't want to use the facilities, if you know what I mean, but this was really good. congratulations

They have it split up into 4 different zones that you can go to with different themes in each one, Fantasyland (Dumbo, Princesses, Pinocchio etc), Discoveryworld (Space Mission ride, Buzz Lightyear), Frontierland (Wild West, paddle steamer ride, Woody & Jessie from Toy Story) and Adventureland (Pirates of the Caribbean, Robinson Crusoe etc). There is also another separate park next door which is the Walt Disney Studios park with all sorts of different shows and rides etc. Very good and well worth going. congratulations

I would love a new siggy if you don't mind. This one has served me well. Anything you like would be fab.

Tanya - whatever you feel like doing is good with me. I love the costumes that Kijo made but really anything is good. congratulations

I love Disney too - I pretend all the DVD's are for the little one but really they're mine! Laughing

The Buzz Lightyear one was really good for my little one - is it the same I wonder? This one, you sit in a car that you can rotate 360 degrees and you have a laser blaster. As you drive through the ride you have to shoot all the Z's that are all over the aliens and Zurg! It was fab - he really loved that one. And it was done so well - the cars were constantly moving so the waiting time never felt that long and as you were half way through the wait there was a giant Buzz telling you about the mission!! Little one was in awe of that!

Will try to add a picture of Buzz later when I have downloaded them off the camera.

Touliuse- you should go! You'll love it. congratulations

There was a Haunted Mansion and the Pirates of the Caribbean (little one too small for that!) but I don't remember a Mickey's Philharmonic or and Enchanted Tiki Room! Never mind, more to look forward too for when we do make it Stateside. congratulations We have been talking about it but it will probably be 2012 before we make it.

We've been told that the best time to come weatherwise would be May, but sister was thinking more like September next year. Any thoughts on better times to come over Tanya?

Laughing he certainly will
it's hard to convince him, he doesn't like things like that actually - when I take him to the fair, we never get into any of the rides because he doesn't like it
there's a slight chance for me to go in Los Angeles this summer (as I passed every class offcourse and if I'm able to go to the States)

Boogs - purely by accident that he is in a double. When we put the house on the market we bought a double bed to go in the spare room (G was in the smallest bedroom). When we decided to move him and his toys into the bigger bedroom the double that ws in there would not go in the small room and I couldn't get rid as it was brand new and never slept in. So, he got the double! Laughing

.

Obviously you missed my status post earlier this week when I said that my shape was round ....

I will be honest and say that I am at my all time high weight and I don't like it .... The only one who can fix it is me, so I am going to give it a try ....

Leo .... You are one post away ...

Boo ... They have some great prizes and on many of them you just pick a # and get something on a chance......

maybe we need to have an encouragement for exercise thread here ....

As much as I lve my mom, she is very overweight ... I don't want to be her in 20 years .. I am already at a better place than she was 20 years ago, but I am not happy with me .. my clothes are too tight, I am uncomfortable sitting at some booths in restarants, I HATE shopping in the fat section of the clothing store ...

but you know what, .... no one force feeds me, I eat every bite of food on my own, and I have to learn when enough is enough.. Part of my problem is the crazy hours at my job. But that is just an excuse ...

I will have a fairly normal schedule for the next 5 months .. more like a real person .. I am going to see how good I can do ..
