ooooh how strange with all the butterflies - I'm not keen on things that flutter (in real life)
but my PS butterfly was a gift from a good friend, so I like that Smile

Mark does seem to be doing well Frannie, I thought he'd be off a couple of weeks at least!
How's Robyn these days?

Hee Hee, IMOM is a baaaaad man!

One place we lived in a cul de sac, with a block paved road (no pavement/sidewalk) and IMOM rang some friends across the road (anonymously) and told them that British Telecomm were going to have to position a phone box at the end of their front garden

I leave it unlocked, precisely because of this, I don;t need broken windows.. some in the neighborhood say to lock it... 6 of one.. 1/2 dozen of the other, I suppose. This is happening all too often though

Yeah but I need a new one, this one was only valid until April 2000
(it's been really 11 years I've been to the States... we were there in 1999)

Anyone posted Hideeni?

I managed to get my full set, but by that time I almost had a second set of spares, so now, of course, I want to complete that one too (OCD)

THanks Gill....I bought so much stuff actually ! I like the trouser suit - not somthing I would normally buy but it just really looked right on me.

(although how much of a fool did I feel as I had to go out and show OH before making a decision - the waiting area was PACKED )

I'd be a bit Smile too.

It's handy having ED though, she can pick things off the rack, stuff I'd never give a second glance to, or just raise her eyebrows if I look at something she doesn't approve of.

The only thing we don't agree on is my hair, although I have had a lot cut off - luckily for me, her b/f agrees with me, but then he would.
He's been offered another job btw, am really pleased for him, and hope he takes it.

Ooh great news on BF's new job! I MUST get a haircut - if I happen to get wet walking the dogs (which of course I did this afternoon) I cannot see a thing and look like an Afghan (hound)

Nice!!!
You're giving me the shopping bug LOL, I want a new skirt... I have no idea why or how, but I want a skirt - I hardly wear it, but still... Very strange feeling! Going to wait until it passes or at least wait for a couple of weeks and see if I still want one then

What kind of catfish? The tiger one?

Frannie, I wish I could. Only thing I can is sew on a loose button (and yet still ask Mom because she's much better)

OK - the 'situation;

OH is a cooking equipment freak and has been nagging for months for a Chasseur Buffet Casserole

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Chasseur-3-0ltr-Cream-Serving-Casserole/dp/B0000C8RFT/ref=tag_tdp_sv_edpp_i

I just used it for the first time, the oven is no more than 200C and the knob on the lid shattered - kitchen smells of burning, but luckily the food's ok because it's covered.

I think y'all should give up hope on your domestic appliances...you are definitely jinxed (although you are talking to the woman who put her slow cooker dish in the over with the LID still on - the handle is plastic moulded )

Hi Leo, I know, I wouldn't have put it in the oven if it wasn't resistant, or, supposedly resistant!

BG, most of our casseroles are le Crueset, this is virtually the same (OH really does have a 'thing' about this stuff, we have 2 le Crueset frying pans and 4 of their large casserole dishes; this buffet/shallow casserole is the first one we bought of that shape)
