Description: This special scenario was made especially for the current anniversary of the forum. See if you can successfully run the first zoo in Rovaniemi, Finland. Deadline? Six months from the date you get the keys to the gate. Objectives? Get at least nine exhibits for cold-loving animals. Make sure you take at least 80% of the Animals' Happiness, 65% of the Guests' Happiness and 70% of the Zoo stats. You must buy at least 2 specimens of the following species: Pacific Walrus; Polar Bear; Tundra Gold-Wing Dragon; Yeti. Also, buy at least 4 specimens of the following species: Whooly Mammoth; Arctic Wolf; Reindeer; Smilodon; Emperor Penguin. The exhibits for them have already been pre-prepared, you only have to finish them and put the animals into proper exhibits. The names are random, but they're going to give you a lot of unexpected results... Once you get your zoo thrilling and succeed in running it through six months, a comittee consisting of most devoted staff members of Zoo Tycoon Wildlife, John's Creations and ZooTekPhoenix will examine your area. If they're pleased, you'll gain six months more and a request to acommodate at least 2 specimens of the following species: Bowhead Whale; Mountain Lion; Whooly Rhino; Snow Leopard - and at least 4 specimens of the following species: Beluga; Narwhal; Ibex; American Lion; Arunachal Macaque. And there's a little additional challenge: if you're curious, make an exhibit for 14 penguins and see what happens... There's plenty of space avalaible. The zoo erected around the suburbs of the city, which now will cater for all your guests' needs. Have fun! Everything is named like this: Polar Paradise zooth_Yx.zoo, where Y and the number explains which year it is and month - well, you can probably solve this puzzle yourself. Title: Third Anniversary Zoo, Agia Napa, Cyprus Author: Melissa Macunado (Shadow Walker) Language: English Requirements: Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection + usermade expansions: "Beach Resort Theme" by Jane; "50 States of America"; "Natural Ponds" by Brandi; "Waterfalls Combined"; "Pond Pack"; "Tek rock combined"; "Low fences combined"; "Super Hack"; JohnRN1's creations (Megalodons, Merfolk, King crabs) Description: This seaside zoo was made for a special occasion: Zoo Tycoon Wildlife's third anniversary. This explains why I went mad with usermade objects and so on. It it is a fictional zoo located on south-east shore of Cyprus, in the bustling seaside resort Agia Napa. If I could choose only one place to go on holiday forever, I would choose Cyprus. Not to mention wonderful culture and historical heritage of the place, but also people and wildlife. That's why this zoo is located in Agia Napa. It consists of several exhibits: there are five tanks with merfolk, megalodons, king crabs, green sea turtles and bluefin tunas. Also, there are six "normal" (land and water) exhibits with saltwater crocodiles, hippos, african warthogs, dromedary camels, californian sea lion and greater flamingos. The list of species is intentional as the zoo features two main biomes: the Mediterranean Sea and the island of Cyprus. I used Jane's and Brandi's objects to create Agia Napa's suburbs before it turned into a bustling seaside resort. That's why there is also a small port and a bay. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take screenshots combining this zoo as a whole, so instead of that I post numerous screenshots of different parts of the island. There is a small market near the tavern, from which you can view astonishing waves. For children I built a minizoo; for now it consists of vietnamese pigs (due to the lack of those on my hard disc I used warthogs instead) and dromedary camels. Hope you will expand this happy farm! The guests are able to swim in several parts of the sea (don't miss this occassion to sunbathe on famous Nissi Beach before it turns crowded with tourists!), it doesn't matter they choose a luxurious ship, cute rentboats or a canoe. Of course, one can also swim in a swimsuit. There's a hotel with a restaurant and a cozy villa for rent. Next to the lighthouse, an old, marine-themed inn greats newcomers exhausted by their memorable trip to the zoo. Do you want do taste something special? The staff is at your service! Title: Winter Zoo Author: Melissa Macunado (Shadow Walker) Language: English Description: This is a simple, plain zoo map for beginners. It consists of a few exhibits featuring Ice Age (mainly tundra and snowy mountains). It could be a good starter for beginners as animals' needs are fullfilled and the economic side of the zoo is running smoothly. Nothing really big to fit beginners' needs (not too many species, it's very hard to bancrupt here... well, I know there are people who can bancrupt even with a good amount of Philosopher's Stone, but I hope this little, cosy zoo would not ). I include all saves so you can add and/or change nearly everything from the very beginning of building process. Currently, on the final step I include, there are exhibits for following species: Yeti, snow leopard, giant tortoise, mountain lion, polar bear and smilodon. Feel free to build many more! Thanks to ZOO Tycoon Companion team, I add screenshots of their lovely programme, which allows you to create excellent habitats for all official species and many more! As the main theme is winter, the animals should be rather northern and mountain - Arctic wolves, markhors, emperor penguins and mammoths fit this rule greatly. But the choice is yours . Title: Jim Cronin's Memory Zoo Author: Melissa Macunado (Shadow Walker) Language: English Information: This is a large map I made as a tribute to Jim Cronin, a man of great spirit who created Monkey World in Dorset, England, the world's biggest centre rescuing suffering primates from around the world. This is a unique place. The men who work at Monkey World are providing a safe heaven for many primates. We just love primates, don't we? You can visit Monkey World at their official website: Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre. This is one of my favourite zoos I made. It took my hours of work, but it was worth it. Visit more than 20 exhibits, have fun in many various attractions and enjoy the spirit of the whole area. There are both present, marine and prehistoric creatures. You can see the zoo on various levels, from starting in year 1 as a little zoo to the end of the year 5 being a well-working business machine. I hope someone would visit my zoo, read its history and be emotionally touched by the story of Monkey World you can read at their website.
