The story gose I had a BMW R100T that my dad said I could keep at is house in wales as long as he could ride it from time to time which suited me as it dose a bike no good standing about for monthes at a time. To cut a long story short as is health was fading he got weaker and he gave the bike to a friend of his to look after! I had no idea who and where. After is death I set about looking to get my bike back.Going in to local pubs and garages asking people. Any way 12 months went by when out the blue this guy turns up asking if the BMW he was looking after was for sale? My Mother said NO! And explained I wanted the Beamer back, the bike arrived back in a real sad state a week later. I then set about sorting a few things out here are the pics so far.Again the cafe theam is in my head. I removed the Tank and a few of the engine covers to clean and polish. Here we have the front points cover. and the airfilter cover and this is after a polish they come up quite well the top starter motor cover also The crank case and cylinders come next. I was looking at the tyres plenty of meat left on them but looking aged so a pair of Bridgstone BT45s where fitted and look great. result and I never popped the new tube [ Looking good. Next I needed to sort out the suspension and to service the motor. I orderd some swag. Which arrived in a large box from flatracer down the smoke. I would like to dress the beamer like this But first I need to open the box and fit the goodies that have now arrived cool more laters

Get rid of the skinko skunko tyre well bad! I run BT45 Rear and mezler lazer tek front thats the best Ive found over past 30 odd years of running my XS BT on the front feathers to death although higher tyre pressure may help.BT45 on the rear is well sick for 3000 mile then it loses it profile and your back to wheelie bin handling good shox and progressive front springs help the fork brace is a must but tighten with care it can snap the top off the forks! -
