  1. Excellent the calliper looks great,plugs pic all adds to the flavor of the build. I never had my swing arm blasted or coated as I thought the blast beads and paint would be more trouble than its worth you need to get rid of every last bead or it will wreck the shaft and any bearings.

  3. Congratulations to Steve Linsdell finishing 4th in todays Senior Classic. Averaging over 102 mph over 4 laps of the mountain is a tremendous achievement on a Royal Enfield. He was timed through the Sulby speed trap at 129.1mph. It is the first time a pushrod single has lapped the mountain at over the ton. Way to go bet that sounded nice

All this brings it back when I pulled mine down 23 years ago :)I remember sitting in a cold shed in late November setting the swing arm bearings up.Hey them wheels and brake disc,s are heavy ant they !My XS11 Fell over on the grass I had to dig the handle bars out the ground to get the thing back up again.great daze

  8. Yes Chad its a 600cc water cooled 3speed twin and was well advanced in 1932 they won the TT a few time and was the first motorcycle to be fitted with a kick starter.thay sound great and go like stink,they also used Scott engines in airoplanes hence there reliabilty.
