  3. After last years successful rally I've decided to put it on again, we raised £300 for M.A.G. at last years rally and we aim to add another '0' to that figure.
We now have a bigger and better venue just down the road from last year at Hawcoat Park Sports & Social Club, Hawcoat Lane, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria LA14 4HF, Tickets are £12.50 each and you can buy them on-line via PayPal on this link http://bikersinfurness.co.uk/furness_mag/fmdead.php or by sending me a cheque and a S.A.E. (details on website)

It took most folk 3 days to get over last years rally and we nearly drunk the bar dry, I think we're gonna struggle emptying the pumps at our new venue with two bars (main function room where all the bands will be playing and the upstairs bar which is our chill out zone).

We're doing a Saturday run out with a difference (still sorting out a group discount for everyone) I'm planning a ride out to a railway station and a ride on a steam train (someone will stay behind at the station to watch the bikes), I'll let you know the price of the train ride as soon as I sort it out.

We're also planning a "Battle of the Bands on the Saturday afternoon for those who don't or can't go on the ride out and I've also been told that there's a cricket match on Saturday afternoon, I just know there's gonna be someone that strips off and gives it legs during the match :notworthy:

I'll keep you all updated as we get nearer to the rally.

We also have a Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/groups/FURNESS.MAG/ just click to join and you should be added to the Deadend Rally page from there

I hope you can make it and meet us all from Furness M.A.G. "we'll be no doubt pissed"

  5. My wife was trying to be sexy last night.
She lay on the bed licking a lollipop, then she slowly started sliding it into her pussy.
I said "Steady on Love, you'll need that to see the school kids across the road in the morning

  6. I phoned the police the other day.

    "What's your emergency?" they asked.

"2 girls are fighting over me" I replied.

"OK" she paused. Well! what's the problem?"

    "The fat ones winning"

It's a 12mm multipoint socket you use not a 13mm, it's a 65mm length of 60mm ID stainless tube you need to replace the mild steel piece and don't grind/cut 2" long slits in it, they only have to be 20-25mm as the pipe only sticks out 30 odd mm from the collector.

No! it was definately a 13mm socket I used, might have been the size of the Allen bolts that was originally on when I got the bike 3 1/2 years ago but it was a 13mm socket as I've lost my 12mm Very Happy

  8. Most of you will probably know this already, but for those who don't here's a good tip
The Bandit Exhausts have a "deliberate" built-in flaw between the collector box and the link pipe (it's in mild steel where it clamps onto the link pipe scratch ) and is prone to rusting and falling apart.
If it happens to you and it starts blowing don't go ordering a new downpipe at 200 odd quid, take the downpipes off and take it round to your nearest stainless steel fabricators (along with your link pipe, they'll need it for the right size).
get them to weld a new section of pipe onto the collector box and cut about 5 slits no more than a couple of inches in it so you can clamp it back onto the link pipe, while your there take a new 61mm clamp and get them to spot weld it onto your old heat shield (it's about £5 for the clamp without the shield £15 with the shield.
Buy new header bolts and seals and refit, should cost round £30 to £40 job lot "a lot better than 200 plus" pint
Also if your having problems taking the old header bolts off because the allen heads have rounded off, warm up your engine for a while put plenty of plus gas on them and hammer a 13mm socket over the allen bolts and they come off a treat

  9. They've gotta have something special lined up this year seeing it's the 25th farmyard rally thumbs
Plans for Friday: arive about 1.30pm, climb off bike, open the panniers and open an ice cold beer for my mini ice box drinking watch the missus struggle with the tent for ten minutes then help her put it up "the tent that is".
Collect as much fire wood as we can and hide it the best we can then it's drink til we fall down "simples"

Plans for Saturday: "the usual" have a late breakfast, quick walk round the trade tents then go and have a look at the custom bikes.
Then it's onto the 100% tent for an afternoon of good ale pint and plenty of laughs party after that we go on the quest of the kebab, if that fails any food will do foodburger
Then we'll probably go and crack open the cans at the tent before going back to watch a few bands (start slowing down with the beer, long ride home in the morning and I dont wanna loose my licence)
