  1. Destine, the Holy Spirit is grieving for you, dear heart. I can feel Him in my spirit. Please promise me that you will read and speak every prayer and read OUT LOUD every verse posted here.

I AM NOT GOING TO LET YOU LEAVE HERE! I love you far too much to let you go.

Don't let the enemy tell you that you don't know me. I know your spirit, dear heart. I've had thoughts of taking my life before so I know where you are. I know what you're feeling. Don't give into the feelings...I know that you're stronger than that. That fact that you came here and posted that lets me know that you still have fight in you.

I love you baby and I'll fight with you. I will pray with you...study with you and counsel you any way I can....will you let me?

  2. I have been feeling like Linda all day too. I knew in my spirit that something was wrong today. Honestly, I was just logging off my computer to go to bed and the spirit of the Lord brought me back to the forum.

Did you see what I typed destine? I said "THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD BROUGHT ME BACK TO THE FORUM". That means that the Holy Spirit is pleading for you.

    PRAY WITH ME....EVERYBODY PLEASE!
Father God I ask that you hear Destine's plea and petition. Father, your Word says to come to you, all those that are heavy laden and you shall give them rest. I come to you on behalf of Destine Father asking that you give her rest in your arms. Let her feel your spirit like she has never felt before Lord. Let her know Father God that this too shall pass. Father God you said in your Word that you will NEVER LEAVE US OR FORSAKE US. Destine needs you right now Lord and because your Words says so, you won't leave! I need you to be right there with her!

In the name of Jesus, I plead the Blood of Jesus over Destine right now! Satan, you are a lie from the pit of hell. In the name of Jesus the hand of God be upon you! Destine's life is not yours to claim. I COMMAND YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS TO BE GONE FROM HER RIGHT NOW. For the Word of God says that you are a defeated foe. YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS TO DESTINE'S LIFE. YOU HAVE NO AUTHORITY OVER HER THOUGHTS OR HEART. I BIND YOU UP IN THE NAME OF JESUS. BE GONE...RIGHT NOW SATAN...BE GONE...IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!!!!!!

Father God your Word in Psalm 91:11 says that You give your angels charge of us to keep us in all of our ways. Father God, I command Destine's angels on her behalf to KEEP HER RIGHT NOW for she is in need of your asistance. Go to her now in the name of Jesus and give her peace and comfort.

I know that you are a loving God and I know you hear the prayers of the righteous because your Word tells us so. I'm believing right now that Destine will have a full abundant life in you Oh Lord! I'm believing this because your son Jesus died on the cross to give her that life.

Father I pray all these things in Jesus mighty name.....AMEN!!!!

  3. Ok, sorry I didn't log back in last night. It was my Happy Birthday 2 and I was just all over the place.

    So, here goes chapter 16:

    Check out verse 3-5:
Abram agreed to what Sarai said. 3 So after Abram had been living in Canaan ten years, Sarai his wife took her Egyptian slave Hagar and gave her to her husband to be his wife. 4 He slept with Hagar, and she conceived.

When she knew she was pregnant, she began to despise her mistress. 5 Then Sarai said to Abram, “You are responsible for the wrong I am suffering. I put my slave in your arms, and now that she knows she is pregnant, she despises me. May the LORD judge between you and me.”

What I find especially interesting about this particular passage is that Sarai acted in her own will, out of unbelief and lack of patience. She tried to "help the Lord out" and the it came back to "hunt her". Hagar started to despise her.

I know this hits home for me because EVERYTIME I act out of the will of God it ALWAYS comes back to "hunt me" in some kind of way. There's a great lesson here; that every action has a reaction and that there are conscequences for every action.

  4. rofl Dreamster you are too funny! ROTFL

on a more serious note: Yea, dreamster, I agree with you hole heartedly! and the best part (you're right) that dispite his weaknesses, he still obtained the promise. That's what makes God great!!!!

He says in Isa 55:11 that His Word will not return to Him void (paraphrasing). There is no way we can change God's mind!

That's what I love about this story!

Let's move on to chapter 16 (unless you guys have more....please share)

  5. That's a great thought butrflie50 and was also one of my biggest struggles in my "walk". I was always concerned with the thoughts of people if I truly turned my life over to Christ.

I was always thinking "will they still accept me as a Christian". But you know what, I love Christ far more than the thoughts of man so I made the choice and guess what...some people left and some are still here. I consider those that are still around the ones who truly loves me. happy dance

  6. I've has similar dreams where God was "wooing" me too. He is such a loving an patient God. I love Him so much!

Check out these two dreams that I had. My "story is much like yours"

    /t10039-reocurring-marriage-theme-dreams-with-a-stranger-that-ended-badly-update-manifestation

I would say continue to pray no matter what! God knows your heart and the fact that he continues in the dream to walk with you and stay with you says that he's not giving up on you. woo hoo

The Word tells us that He will never leave or forsake us!

    Be blessed~

  7. Sure that does. thumbs

I haven't taken the accuracy test so these are just my thoughts. I encourage you to pray over them.

It appears in your dream that the man could be Jesus trying to "win you over". It seems as if you are flattered and interested in His invitation to you but then you are being "pulled" in other areas in your life (may concern mom) that may be distracting your "walk".

I hope this makes sense because it sound different in my head

It appears the Jesus is telling you that one day you're going to be ALL HIS. That to me sounds like He's patient and loving enough to stay with you during your journey.

Again, I've not taken the accuracy test so please pray over this. Keep what relavant and toss out the rest.

    Be blessed~

  8. Rave2472, I see that you are a new member here so first let me welcome you happy dance happy dance happy dance

We here in the forum appreciate MIA for opening up such a site as this!

Remember what Peter said in Acts 10:34 that God is no respecter of person. That means that He treats people all the same WITH LOVE. The Word says that the rain falls on the just AND unjust (Mat. 5:45).

    Look what JESUS says:

    Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

I encourage you to do what the Word says treat everyone with love, dignity and respect.

Again, welcome to the site and I truly hope you are blessed by it. :hooray:

  9. Oh, I forgot my point, I got so excited. lol!

My point to the Lord answering Abram with a covenant was that the Lord was saying (paraphrasing) "Abram if you don't believe me, I'll make it legally binding". In other words, the Lord was saying (paraphrasing) You can take this to the bank...this is a GOOD deal.
    woo hoo

    I just love it!

  10. :glory: PREACH CHOLETTE!!!

Yes, Abram was a believing man until Sarai unbelief influenced him to move on his own. But isn't it just like people to talk us out of a place of faith? I don't hold them accountable (anymore) though because it is me who the Lord has given the Word to. thumbs

There's another working here in 15:8 where Abram ask the Lord about the land that the Lord said he would posses. Let's start up in verse 7 and go down to 11 to really get a good feel for it:

Then the Lord told him, “I am the Lord who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land as your possession.”

8 But Abram replied, “O Sovereign Lord, how can I be sure that I will actually possess it?”

9 The Lord told him, “Bring me a three-year-old heifer, a three-year-old female goat, a three-year-old ram, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.” 10 So Abram presented all these to him and killed them. Then he cut each animal down the middle and laid the halves side by side; he did not, however, cut the birds in half. 11 Some vultures swooped down to eat the carcasses, but Abram chased them away.

I could never understand why God answered Abram this way until I read a great commentary by Bob Diffenbaugh that explain that in those times they didn't write down legal and binding agreements. Instead they used animals to "seal the deal". So this act was the Lord "sealing the deal" or making a covenant (promise) to Abram in terms that he could understand.

GOD IS SO AWESOME! He meets us right where we are :hallelujah:

So what caused Abram's faith to weaken? time and the unbelief of others.....whew THAT'S A POWERFUL LESSON RIGHT THERE.
