We were at dinner a couple hours ago, and my husband told me he had a dream last night of water coming in all around and he said, oh yea here it comes and stood up on the table to watch it go under him... I had not mentioned your dream to him. YOu can imagine how I reacted, since I had just left the site with your dream on my mind.

Let me make sure I understand this. Your job, the business, is to do what you can to mainstream marginalized people. Your looking at a possible promotion that will make that business or program run more efficient.

When you say marginalized people what do you mean? Would it be a positive thing if this organization's training program was adjusted to mainstream them? Why are they marginalized? Is it a pool of attendees that are a good fit but undeveloped? Or are they a bad fit because of poor recruiting? You don't have to answer. Regardless you have ideas to improve recruitment.

Looks like your administrative giftings are manifesting in your dreams. The fact that you would look at something to better organize it, and the fact that you have ideas to increase the student body, tells me that you should really pray about being involved with this organization in planning, and recruiting.

Christmas Jumpers: It would be good for the organization to jump forward in their planning now, your ideas/prayers may save the company from the embarrassment that marginalized members could bring- including backward advertisement.

I believe that someone could find more spiritual parallels here, but your dream reminds me of how God use to show me things in my career to progress it. So I have a more natural take to it. dee Newine

I believe the road part is your early training in the Lord giving you wisdom beyond what is understood in the natural. Like everyone knows (or should know) not to drive through flood water, but what you knew about that road as a child gave you the knowledge and wisdom to instruct the car to turn around. Beyond common knowledge. Your living your life in that vain now, what you do is based on your instruction and knowledge of God. It will keep you.

There are dreams, and visions, and knowings from the Spirit of God. YOu bear witness with truth, not looking at a young girl in a summer dress, but discerning the word of God. Not only are you discerning the spirit manifesting, but you know what needs to be done, Wisdom.

God is bringing you in a place where knowledge wisdom and discernment is bringing you above the circumstances. Giving you the birds eye view. Above the waters. You could not "see the spirit" but you heard it manifesting. With out a dream, or vision, it came from a knowing in your spirit. Us dreamers sometimes forget- we have the still small voice of God constantly speaking to us. Instructing us, with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.

in that you quoted from my post about rummaging in suitcases in the basement, I suppose you must be including me with the christians that do not believe that we have to deal with generational curses.

I certainly do believe in generational curses, absolutely. Like I stated in the post the enemy is illegal, he is a trespasser. If we let him he will pass through generational lines. He will pass through them even if we are born again, because we have to assert our rights as believers. We must take possession of the promises of God full throttle, as the children of Israel had to take possession of Canaan.

It is the way we deal with the enemy, and generational curses, that i was addressing. I too have been involved in deliverance for many years. I too have seen generational and hereditarial illnesses and sins destroy peoples lives. Many of those things leaving their carnage in the jails, prisons and streets, where I have gone to minister. When you bring a deliverance ministry in those places, their is more manifestation because the devil knows Jesus is coming to cast him out. I have seen the foaming of the mouth, and gargling on the floor ... I have heard the demons scream, I watched a (90lbs) 80 year old woman climb half way up the drapes of her room when we walked into the door. (She called my husbands name with out knowing him, or knowing that we just walked though the entrance of the building.) She encountered deliverance that day though the name of Jesus Christ. We seen her a year later, looking 10 years younger and in her right mind. I have seen the generational curse of suicide, alcoholism, rage and premature death eradicated from my life by breaking generational curses. How? As quoted in my post:

Proclaiming the word of God against them.:Alcohol will not have this generation. Suicide will not have this generation. Premature death, and addictions, will not have this generation. I will not inherit osteoporosis, or altimeters disease. He sent His WORD, and healed me, and delivered me from destruction!

My children are the first of many generations free from alcoholism.

The image of one digging through old suitcases in the basement is a pitiful scene. We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus, we can deal with these things on the front line in power and grace; fearless resolve. We are not on opposite ends here. I simply want people to know that it doesn't have to be hard. Healing is the children's bread. Jesus said, "take this my body, eat it, as you do remember me". They say we become what we eat. My reference to rummaging though suitcases in the basement is in regard to people that have taken this generational curse thing out of balance. I spent hours upon hours in counseling sessions with individuals who go on and on about needing to be free from this generational curse, and that generational curse, having all this knowledge about it, but never getting free. They ignored my counsel and continued to dwell on the curses, instead of dwelling on the CROSS of Christ where ordinances written against us were nailed! If only they would stand and point to the Lamb, and say. "Satan, Christ bore my curse".

We have got to get ourselves full of God and his word, this is LIGHT that displaces darkness. Text book knowledge and deep studies are not going to do it. We will overcome them by the blood of the Lamb and by the WORD of our testimony, (profession). I would much rather tell people how to stand in their freedom in Christ, and how by the Sword of the Word you can sever generational bondages, calling them by name, and telling them they cannot have you. Rather then the alternative, which to me has been reduced to nothing more than sessions upon sessions of psychological witch hunts. Inner healing ministry gone viral. Balance is the key here. Word based and Spirit led. Some of you that have been around awhile will know what I am referring to. I've been there, and truly have discovered a better, more hopeful, and liberating way.

Hmm, this is a little bit of a challenge for me. Although I truly understand the analogy on how creatures in various cultures can mean good for one dreamer, and evil to another. I don't know if we are comparing apples with apples here. After all a dog is a real animal, a cow is a real animal ... a mermaid has roots that steep from superstitions, folk lore etc...

With that analogy then ... if someone dreams of fairies, leprechauns, elves, or mermaids and they bring wonderful experiences with them in our dreams we should, then, not be alarmed of their message?Or of their presence in our dreams? Because they are "what appears to be" innocent?

No matter how pleasant a fairy princess, fairy godmother, or golden mermaid be, should they bare reliable messages to us in our dreams? Shouldn't they be regarded as what they are? A fable? A fantasy? A myth? aka (lie) ..?

Again looking at the dream in context ... I agree with the second post down- mbstudent's interpretation.

Perhaps your friend has matters of the heart she should let fully bake in her own life before she tries to "put her convictions on others". If she is a Christian, what God gives her, may not fit the "dynamics of some one else's situation.

If she is not a Christian it may mean her 'beliefs are not squaring up with the truth' not setting well, doesn't fit etc ... The table scene reveals the "tension" that this is causing in friendship/fellowship.

Lola, are you sure this dream does not have a greater representation then just that of your friends house? Perhaps, your friend's house represents Jamaica, the change you see have to do with commerce and tourism.(Front of the house a store front) The kitchen represents the heart of Jamaica and it's culture (kitchen is the heart of the home) foods we eat reflect the culture. This part remains unchanged, because it is good for tourism. "Another" spirit has moved in- a spiritual change of atmosphere. Perhaps it is illegal, but allowed and the Lord is showing you the difference. How you see (the boarder) operate at your friends house is a representation of the changes you will see in Jamaica, organizational changes, some good maybe, but it is moving into the "heart of Jamaican culture" (cleaning the fridge and stove)all about commerce and tourism, perhaps. A legitimate question.

You see them on talk shows, you may have read their books. You may have had these experiences yourself: People who have talked to the dead, or claimed they have lived past lives.

It is a fact that has been documented in many places that some people have experienced what is called "residual impressions of former lives". The word of God does not support any teaching or belief that states, man has lived multiple lives. Christ himself was not "reincarnated". He was resurrected, and that is a world of difference.

So here is the question: How is it that there are documented circumstances where people, even children, have claimed to have been in another life, and have known details, unpublished, of some who lived and are now dead?

It is no great mystery when you understand the biblical teaching of an invisible world. Most commonly called the spirit realm.

The bible clearly tells us that there are, in fact, familiar spirits in the world. The word familiar in the English bible comes from the Latin word familiaris. Meaning household, family, servant of the household. This describes "spirits" that have familiarity with households, families, clans and various people groups. Information from these spirits gained by psychics and mediums is passed to the individual who they are consulting with, providing pertinent information that only those households, individuals, family, or people groups, would know in any given generation. This gives legitimacy to the medium, psychic, or hypnotist. The bible, however, proves they are very much illegitimate, for that matter, illegal.

Lev 19:31 Regard not them that have FAMILIAR SPIRITS, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.

Lev 20:6 And the soul that turneth after such as have FAMILIAR SPIRITS, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

Often times people who have opened themselves up to psychics, mediums, spiritists, or hypnotists, begin to have "experiences" that lead them to believe they have lived other lives. When they research the information they have received through these encounters, it is found to be vaguely factual in many cases. This experience also includes psychic readings of haunted houses, and places, as well; where information from the psychic, or medium reading a haunting, will come up with information about events or people historically attached to that place.

Mistakenly, these individuals take this information for face value believing that disembodied human spirits are roaming the hallways of a dwelling, or that past lives are being discovered in the remnants of their memory. It is nothing more than familiar spirits, as referred to in the bible, feeding these individuals with information that confirms their belief in reincarnation, along with the false assumption that the lost dead, wander between life and death, to give the living messages from beyond. Those who have delved in these occult practices, all most always become more advanced in a belief system that the bible calls, doctrines of devils. Their teachers are not the Holy Spirit, but impostors, liars, the fallen ones whose sole desire is to deceive and control human beings. There end is the Lake of Fire.

Because these spirits witness generations of people on this earth who have come and gone. Their knowledge of human nature and human weakness has been compiled through the ages. They learn how to serve the doctrine and belief system to keep people loyal to it, generation after generation. However, the word of God explicitly warns those who entertain familiar spirits, not to do so. And those who go after false gods and doctrines of devils will find themselves eternally lost, and separated from Him.They will encounter broken and mangled lives, to often minds, as well.

We should also consider that these evil spirits have had generations to perfect their lies. The legions that the Lord Jesus Christ cast out of the man in the tombs, still walk the earth today. It would stand to reason that the enemy has adjusted his tactics over the years, to be more affective in what he does. I believe that is one of the reasons why Jesus said, if men do these things when the tree is green, how much worse will it be when it has become dry? Luke 23:29. In other words, evil will become more evil; more expert at being evil. As he said in another place, "...if those days had not been shortened, all mankind would have been destroyed".

Mathew 12:42-45 43
"When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.' When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation."

Lucifer knows the Word of God better then the greatest of all theologians. In fact I would say, Satan is a theologian of theologians, and would not be surprised if he has possessed a few of them perfectly, now and in eras gone by. I am sure he has inspired many books, that sit in our University libraries today. He is a master at twisting God's word and even tried to deceive the son of God, Jesus Christ. Approaching him in the desert, to tempt him. He distorted the context and intent of the scriptures attempting to deceive him. And with the Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, Jesus fought back and overcame the one who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Today, the bible says that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the word of our testimony! Amen!

So here we have it famous people out there making a lot of money deceived and deceiving others. They are giving people "readings" or relaying information from a dead loved one, to them. It would be cruel if all this was a lie, wouldn't it? Well, the devil is a cruel master. And has no regard for the truth or the ultimate good for those who are deceived by him. Yes, he will use what ever prop he can to sway you his way. Even the cruelty of using the passing of a child, to "hook" a grieving mother, father, or sibling into his web of deceit. When one knows Christ, one knows that the Holy Spirit is our great comforter, and he is able to comfort us with hope and joy, even in the face of devastating loss. Jesus said, I will never leave you nor forsake you ... In my Fathers house are many mansions, if it were not so I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you. That where I am you may be also...

There is an abundance of comfort found in the scriptures, the Word of Life, that is there for us to rely upon and set our hope in. The dark under world of Satan and his hordes can provide no lasting joy, only a temporary utopia where the mind is deceived into a comfort that does not last, in a belief that has no ground for standing. When truth sounds the alarm and demands the lie to come forth, the props of Satan and the mirage that is his kingdom will collapse beneath those who found his lies a refuge, because they LOVED not the truth. Because they did not chase after the Word of Truth, and His everlasting kingdom.

For Buddhist the Highest state to achieve is called Nirvana. Most people believe that this is a state of perfect peace or bliss. It is a "wrap up" if you will of the cycle of lives and the working out of Karma. But actually, the meaning of this word is more truthful to it's true destination then most people realize. The word means to "extinguish" as a flame to a candle is "extinguished" or "put out". It is the end of the cycle of rebirth and death. This in itself is a haunting reality to those who follow other gods besides the one and only true God. It is also the end of those who practice sorcery and spiritism. Yes, they will come to a time where their light will be extinguished as the flame to the candle is put out ... along with those, so called Christian prophets, who followed after the error of Balaam ...

I just finished an article on this very subject that I was going to post on Member bible study and Teachings. You can imagine my amazement when I seen your post. Wow!

I think Cholette and Traveller posted, well. As far as G. Curses, In a nut shell, I agree with Cholette. We have been redeemed from the curse of the law. I think that we do need to declare the Word of God over our lives, and focus on the Good news of His Word, and who we are in Him. Not only because we need to hear it, but because the devil is a trespasser, and he operates illegally, and if we do not know where we stand, he will surely take advantage of that and work where he has no right to work.

I think we can get into bondage, if we are constantly probing around trying to figure out some deep seeded reason for this or that, when all we need to do is tell the devil, and generational curses- the buck stops here! I am in covenant! I am a new creature! Christ in me the Hope of Glory. Alcohol will not have this generation. Suicide will not have this generation. Premature death, and addictions, will not have this generation. I will not inherit osteoporosis, or altimeters disease. He sent His WORD, and healed me, and delivered me from destruction!

Why stumble around in the basement rummaging through old suitcases for an answer, when we can stand on the roof top, and proclaim HIs Word over are lives, and to the next generation? It just seems to be a better way. Believe me, I have witnessed the rummaging, no sooner do you get rid of one thing, than your after another. We can sweep the basement clean, addressing these things by name, but if we do not fill it up with the LIGHT of Gods word, (according to scripture) the unclean spirits will come back to the house they came out of with seven more stronger then them.

Yes, I do believe that your dream is about relationships. And that it has to do with the group. The house (to me ) represented the church and you in the dentist chair reps- the other group. You just need to determine whether or not the Doc was God in your dream, if he is then no worries, God set you there and sort of made the mess. If it is Him stirring things up or changing things around that is God being God. Sheepfold = teeth.

Doctor- Doctrine may stir up some displacements and get people out of accord. If God is the doctor- no worries. He makes messes sometimes so he can clean up, if you get my drift.

Do be careful with dogmatism. YOurs or others. I suggest lots of prayer.

Hmm, well I don't get the reason why words would symbolize teeth. Is there a scripture that your thinking of that would connect them? Or is it just because they come out of your mouth? NOw the tongue would represent conversation, as it represents the helm of a ship and the power of words taking you places ... Teeth chew and in correlation to words, it would make more sense that they would mean to ponder, or think about something being said, rather then representing you talking to much. YOu see I just don't get the symbolism for words=teeth. Help me understand.
