oh still i am trying, make no mistake. i HAVEN'T been able to find one. the longer i don't have a job...the longer this goes on...it doesn't make sense. What doesn't make sense? The fact you don't have a job after a few days or weeks of effort? This is simply life. You need to understand that and PERSEVERE! Press on, be determined, don't let anything stand in your way. IT WILL HAPPEN as long as you continue to put forth the effort. We live in a GREAT country. One that God once smiled on. And he still provides for those he loves. He gives us the ability but it us to us to walk through the doors he opens for us. Keep your eyes and heart open and be willing when those opportunities come. It may not be exactly what you are looking for but it doesn't mean that it is something we can not learn and grow from. The apostle Paul is one of the most intimidating figures in the Bible. He faced many struggles after God confronted him on the road to Damascus. Yet he persevered. There was no lack of committment. He was a man of action. His was a total and complete faith. Perhaps you can't be like the apostle Paul, few can. But take inspiration from him and our Lord and what they went through. Don't be afraid to go out into the world and influence it for him. Trust that God will guide you as YOU continue to WORK. God loves honest effort and an honest heart. Put forth the effort and be honest with yourself every day and HE WILL BLESS you. I will pray for you this night and ask for God's guiding hand to show you the way. Go and BE BLESSED!

@Cloud Connected You should NOT box yourself in to only Church related jobs. They are typically low paying and very few to choose from. If you are 23 years old and living at home, you need to have a lot more going on in your life. You can serve God in any job by choosing to be a Christian and living your life accordingly. Did you answer the questions I asked previously? Do you ACTIVELY SEEK EMPLOYMENT? Do you EVALUATE your efforts EVERY DAY? Do you COSISTENTLY follow up with INQUIRIES and CONTACTS you have made? Do you make efforts to SOCIALIZE and be around others with similar interests? Do you CONTRIBUTE to conversations and SINCERELY want to SHARE experiences with others? Have you found a trusted friend or relative to discuss theses matters with? Be honest with yourself Cloud. Are you doing ALL that you can do and asking God to bless your efforts? Even when you are making a Maximum Effort, it can take time for things to work out. But have FAITH. They will work out if you continue to WORK and PRAY. The apostle Paul writes "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." And so it will be for you. Be enouraged young man. You have your whole life in front of you. Now go LIVE it. Bless YOU!

Hi Cloud! I'm new here but I've been reading your posts for some time. You sound like a very frustrated young man. You've been given some pretty good advice and encouragement here. @butterfly is right on about you having a regular job and has given you some specific things you can do. Regardless it is IMPERATIVE that you take ACTION in your life. I read where you NEED a job and you don't have ANY friends. Have you stopped to ask yourself Why? Do you ACTIVELY SEEK EMPLOYMENT? Do you EVALUATE your efforts EVERY DAY? Do you COSISTENTLY follow up with INQUIRIES and CONTACTS you have made? Do you make efforts to SOCIALIZE and be around others with similar interests? Do you CONTRIBUTE to conversations and SINCERELY want to SHARE experiences with others? God expects us to do ALL we can. We should seek his guidance and pray for wisdom as we SEEK to do his will on our lives. We should ask God to BLESS our EFFORTS. The key word is EFFORTS. This involves ACTION once again on your part. As a young person you can achieve most anything you set out to do. Set your mind to acquiring the things you will need to live a RICH and FRUITFUL life. Some of these things are EDUCATION, STRONG WORK ETHIC, PERSISTANCE, DETERMINATION, COMMUNICATION, and don't forget HUMILITY. It appears you have issues with your dad so if you can't talk to him choose another trusted friend or relative. I'm sure there is someone available to you if you take time to think about it. Understanding God's will for us can be a LONG process and most of the time DOES NOT come to us in a single word or thought. I want to leave you with a word of ENCOURAGEMENT. Be CONFIDENT and have FAITH in yourself and God. TRUST him to lead you as you TAKE ACTION. You CAN do whatever you want to do if you are willing to work for it.
