In my opinion, if you want to go as far as demoting a staff member, then at least post those logs -

Due to some recent problems on our IRC channel I was forced to set a whitelist for it, if you want to be able to use it, please post it down here and I'll fetch your IP and whitelist it, if you need more IPs whitelisted, send me a PM with those IPs and it'll be done.
However: This also means that any misbehaving through the IRC channel will be dealt with In-Game too, offending people through IRC? You'll get punished in-game too.
