I have not had a hair cut for over a year I don't like going to a new place where I don't know how they are going to cut my hair. Last time I had my hair cut was one of the students salon on Oxford Street (Vidal Sassoon) and I had layers put in my long hair. I was there for over 3 hours as the students have to be checked by tutors all the time but it was done very nicely and only cost me £4.50 so I can't really complain. I was going to go there last December but they were fully booked till end of January when I tried to book when I had fridays off.

the show got cancelled in States - after the father dies (in RL he unexpectedly died of heart problems) they carried on for a bit with CJ and granpa but it got cancelled soon after that. The are showing re-runs here on one of the "satelite" channels. Thanks - yes it was very strange and frightening experience. I definitaly won't be moving there!

did any of you see 8 simple rules? not as hilarious as TBBT but it's a show were Penny used to be before TBBT. I loved it. The mom who was there was also in the mom from Married with children. Hello Sophie. I'm doing good - I don't know if any of you read about my room viewing last night (it's one of the last post in part 2 thread). I know about the temperature because we have this thingy on the corner of our office block that shows time and current temperature.

hello girls I've been reading back few pages Kijo congrats on new job and hope it all goes well Yes I love TBBT - I have seen the episode where Penny dislocates her shoulder while Raj, Howard and Penny's boyfriend (can't think of his name right now even if you kill me) are stoned after eating those cookies while watching meteor shower (sorry if I'm giving too much away) we have 6 inch (15cm) of snow forecasted for tomorrow and friday and it's been snowing here a little bit this morning but it melted right away - it's currently 3 degrees and last night was -1.

yes I can imaging that would be really annoying - unecessary hold up because of supliers. Is the bathroom "usable" now? Just worried what are you going to do while your workman is on holidays. I have to say I have a thing for dark granite - I have dark granite placemats and chopping board and cheese board (the one with wire for cutting) - all from Tesco. If I ever own a place I want to have dark granite tops in kitchen and bathroom (if possible).

yes it was quite a shocking experience - like something from 50 years ago (the guys hairstyle and side burns and piles and piles of video tapes in living room). As you said - you couldn't make it up. BTW how's the work? Is it finished yet? I was drooling when I saw the pictures - was that your own design?

Good Morning Zoonie from snowy London - yes it's snowing here in central London - not heavy just flurries of snow but it's blooming cold out there. No it was not a good news I'm afraid. Went to see that place with Mr B and it was a tip!!! We were greeted by very scruffy unwashed old bloke in dirty tracksuit bottoms and stained t-shirt. It was one bed council (I presume) flat in a block of flats above commercial premises. It was very small, dirty and smelly. There was a cat and a budgie ( not that I would mind that) but we have only seen 1 bedroom. Living room was open plan with kitchenette in a corner. The bloke told us he's looking for a lodger because he's saving up to pay for a flight to bring in his Malaysian bride (he showed us picture). After we left (spend maybe 5 minutes there) both me and Mr B were like - 'OMG this is not real'. He even said that's the worse place he's ever seen!!! Well the guy was asking for £62 a week all inclusive - I was right to be suspicious and I'm glad I didn't go there on my own. From the advert it sounded too good to be true!
