  3. how's your hair now? I've hear of A-team but never seen it
  4. I had an idea - I should call him Mr B (rather than X) - after all his surname begins with B
  5. looks like I'm here on my own now :cold:
  6. I'm still here just in and out - everyone's going mental now - typicaly so much work has been left till last minute and we are breaking off tomorrow. I'm getting headache and my eyes are starting to burn - guess I'm starting to feel effects of last night "adventure"
  7. this one is specially for you and your computer - love the new icons here
  8. it was X who pointed out to me not so long ago that the it's says Suffles instead of Snuffles :JC_lol: : I've never noticed it myself thank you for the pic tanya
  9. I suppose if I call a spade a spade then it would be my flat mate (for now) or "x" - both are true for the time being I like X it makes him sound mean (which I think he is for what he did to you) obviously I'm biased *blush* he's been nice (most of the time) and is not making it difficult at all - not pushing me into talking or making any decisions - he's even going to a wedding with me (we were both invited a while back).
  10. I suppose if I call a spade a spade then it would be my flat mate (for now) or "x" - both are true for the time being
  11. thank you I would love to add her but I don't have fb access right now - if you could maybe remind me later or get her to send me f/r with a note
  12. NO - sorry I was being unclear - it's only today and then sunday. well she invited people from out office but apart from the bride and groom (met him twice) I won't know anyone else
  13. hello Tiph lovely to see you here
  14. yes I agree - but I guess I have to stop talking about him that way - it's not doing me much good otherwise. Time to face the reality (not sure if I'm prepared for it yet though)
  15. well there is no dress code for this - apart from smart but the whole wedding starts today with something called Henna (yes there will be henna tatooing involved) but I can't go as it's 6pm in North Lodnon and I finish work at 5.30 and have to go home first because of the dog and get changed so by the time I would get there would be about 8.30 and I would miss most of it. I have been to african after wedding party in past - I used to look after 2 kids of this Nigerian family and it was fun - lovely food, lots of bright colours, their traditional music. Yes if I make it there on 27th (it's sunday and festive period so not sure about trains and I have to take 3 trains to get there) I will report back.
  16. ot be honest I would rather work than stay at home this year I really should stop using OH when I talk about him as he's not really OH anymore (even thought nothing has been said to friends/family yet). Yes wedding might be fun (both of us are going to keep the public pretence for bit longer) - it will be pain in backside to get there as it's somewhere north London and we live south east but I want to go for at least few hours as it's Turkish wedding (one of my work colleagues) and I might never have a chance to go to Turksish wedding again (and I've never been before).
  17. I've got a wedding to go to on 27th and then possibly bday celebration of some sort on 28th (it's OH bday but he hasn't decided if he's going to do something and if I'll be involved in it but I keep my diary free just in case). I'm planning to do lots of nothing and maybe (if I'm in mood and good mental state) to start sorting my belonging how about you? got anything exciting planned?
  18. well I'm not feeling bad - slight headache and runny nose but I only have one more day of work (after today) and then I'm off until after new year so I will have time to rest. thank you for your concerns hunnie and sorry i didn't get to reply to your e-mail last night. I just walked the dog and then hot shower and bed by 9.15
  19. [quote="armellproctor"] hello armell I'm at work now - it was not so bad this morning - came to station few minutes before train was due armed with insulated cup of coffee in case I will have to wait (they are running saturday service with trains every half an hour) but I managed to squeeze on that train (only just) and got to work 9.10 so not so bad. getting home might be different as they predict more snow/rain today and -6 degrees for tonight hope you are well hunnie
  20. quick good morning everyone - sorry I've disappeared withouth saying anything last night but office manager was waiting for me so he could locked up office and go home so he was rushing me out. I've left work at 5.15 and reach home at 8.40 so I just walked the dog and went to bed as I was wet and freezing cold.
  21. thank you zoonie - about the info *hug* it's getting heavier and heavier so boss said we can leave at 5 instead of 5.30 to make sure we all get home tonight
  22. ok now the snow is forming thick cover on ground and I'm starting to worry about me getting home - we had train problems this morning and it was not snowing
  23. really? I work for accouting firm - but don't do tax returns - January will be mental at work as UK tax return deadline is 31 January
