New stuff is just everywhere - that's why it takes me so long to work out the weekly TWS list from just the new stuff.

This week I nearly missed the Teepee and the Skull Cave (TWS) - it's a ploy that makes you scour the whole of the stores - some stuff like the toy chest and the Nana plushie, is in more than one store as well.

I've had a special section a while ago, where it just showed the new items in the store, but that's gone now... I don't like to go trough every shop, I almost missed the cream tepee (thanks for reminding Gill!)

Oh I like Monk, I've seen a lot of episodes this weekend, but the thing is: they don't follow each other, if you see what I mean, there's no continuity.

I disagree about Monk though, each episode is a self contained investigation, but I do find that they weave elements of past stories and information through, as the season continues,

Oh yes that's what I meant if you are able to follow each episode, but they've mixed every episode, there's no continuity when they air them, the schedule seems messed up

Yes, Frannie, we have two Bank Holidays in May, the first Monday, for May Day, and Monday 24th, which used to be known as the Whitsun (Pentecost) Holiday, but is now renamed Spring Bank Holiday

Hello Zoonie - still lurking for a bit while boss in meeting.

It was absolutely mental yesterday - blinding sunshine one minute and then hail next minute but so bad - honestly like someone was throwing it. Because it always happend so fast and unexpected you didn't get much chance to run for cover. It was really bad and my poor poor ears were suffering the most (so painful).

Went to do bit of (window) shopping, pub lunch and cinema so caught hails about 7 times during the day.

Today is bit cloudy but so cold - had to turn on my little blow heater under my desk. Unfortunately for me - I was being over optimistic and took my winter coat to dry-cleaners on saturday for it to be ready next saturday. Guess I will have to put on extra layer in the mean time.

I honestly thought that I won't need it in MAY!!! How wrong was I?

Poor you Bee - remember for next year that old English saying 'Ne'r cast a clout, 'til May is out'

Not sure of the spelling, but basically Ne'r = never (obviously) and cast a clout is some old dialect for removing clothing. So basically don't put your woolies aside until June

Clout is said as clowt, if that makes sense?

Some people actually think it means May Blossom rather than the month of May, but the way things are going, you probably need your winter coat handy all year round!!!
