I haven't anything really intense planned for today, but will probably have to retreat to the kitchen while Sven does his resumes. He spends so much time on them...I just hope that he gets something for the effort...like a new job where he is happy.That's asking a lot, I know.Anyway, will probably do some songwriting today and then go to the grocery story....wheee...another day in paradise. Remember...when you feel good..the kids feel good! Bless your mom for being there to help out. My day will be the same as usual. Kids coming home now from school...gotta feed them....clean up the lunch mess.....gotta make sure they do their homework...send them out in the fresh air when it gets too loud in here....make dinner...clean up after dinner....get them all showered before bedtime.....send them to bed...and then....some "me" time Have a great day everyone! I have seen the consultant, had x-rays, seen the consultant again then seen the specialist nurse...all in all I feel prodded and poked and my neck is now in agony He has confirmed the diagnosis of Psoaratic arthitis and has also diagnosed me with spondylitis, which is an arthritis which affects the spine so not good news, He has started me on medication, which hopefully will stop it getting any worseThanks for all your hugs and messages of support xxxx Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

bunnyfuzzyness 0 Posted May 27, 2010 Lisa,I am sorry ~huge ,but gentle hugs~.I have spondylitis ,from lifting too many people over the years.I pray the medication will help you and they can get this under control before it worsens.GRRRRRRR @ doctors making us feel so bad when we go see them!!!!Pulling,stretching,poking and tugging!!!!Makes the pain so intense for days,I have accidentally on purpose, tripped my dr with my cane before.... OOPS! He works for the insurance company that is ruining my life though Anyhow huge hugs and ask them for a tens unit!It will make your life much better when pain is involved in places,like back,neck,legs etcluv you lotsKathy Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I can only imagine how tough it is for you right now thank goodness your mom is with you right now to help with the kiddos today. I really hope that your medication works well for you, and it helps you feel better. You are a wonder woman hun, you do so much. Try and take it easy when you can! How is your daughter doing today? Mangoberri 0 Posted May 27, 2010 :hugs: sorry lea.wish i could do something about it.not going to be on much today, i had a infected cut, and my sister just poked it with a needle and washed it with alcholhol after cutting the skin off. ouchy. lets just say that it was a gigantic bubble of yellow stuff.
