Hate crime...? Blah!

Some of you may saw my FB status already.. but any case..

My mom told me today when she came home from work that her car ... someone threw well... manure on it [it was parked in the condo's garage]. it wasn't bird poo, it was like mammal poo.... yeah just. wow. it probably happened during midnight while we were asleep but my mom didn't notice til coming home from work since it was all stuck between the window gap where the windshield wipers are connected.

i was shocked i almost didn't believe it but yeah. she cleaned it off now...

basically there's a some haters here that dislike my mom for some reason in our condominium. we had a feeling it was the few old Korean ladies that live here and for some reason they hate my mom.

Long story short my mom was president of the Board of Members for our condo and she was really helpful in fact 90% loved my mom. i was so glad. but she quit for 4 years due to her actual work, and just personal problems, and the fact some people started grudging on my mom (like those Korean ladies i mentioned earlier prob due jealousy since they got nothing better to do -_-) so once she stopped running for president, stuff settled down.

But now my mom just decided to sign up for it again. All she did was put her name on the list. but i guess those ladies saw it.. cause right after my mom wrote her name on the list like last week, and THIS happens.

Well we more or less know it's them now since my mom put up a sign around the place both in korean and english stating: "Vandalizing cars is a crime. i know who you are so stop committing crimes." and she left it anonymous. she didn't blame anyone either.

and BAM! Few hours later the lady we suspected came to our house and started well RANTING at my mom saying "why the ***** you put this up? what is this?!?!" and like well how did the lady know my mom wrote that and why did she rant about it to her, you know? so it only proved that lady was guilty for it.

but UGH talk about dirty, stupid and outright unbelievable. i'm afraid she's gonna do it again since the lady left with a huff. my mom was just laughing but yeah. if she did it again my mom said she'll call the cops, i just hope we can catch her on tape or someone sees it if she does do it again...

we do got security guards in our garage but he wasn't there at the time apparently.. so we got no witnesses yet.

i just hope we can stop her.

[didn't put this in agony aunt since not asking for advice really. theres' nothing much we can do about it w/o proof anyways.]

Thanks for your concerns Ursula and Hanna. i honestly think she's a crazy lady and my mom told me more about her and i'm like well no surprise she did that now. lol

and yeah it's an enclosed apartment so wow.. just wow.. i want those ladies to move out or something seriously.. why would they do this in the first place and if they hate my mom then move out LMAO or tell it to her face not throw.. well stuff at my moms car.

i hope someone catches her.

Is there a chance that this woman has been doing this to other people? I mean; if there is something being done like that, then it is not easy to hide, specifically with the bad smell. Even if nothing can be done, I'd still contact the police about it and file a report. If this woman has a lot of enemies, then she may be doing this to other people, not just your mother.

Weird people...to go to such lengths is so junior high. I guess growing old is manatory but growing up is optional.

I think it's just to my mom right now (which fails) and doesn't help the lady has like.. 2 other friends that probably helping her as well. in any case my mom does know someone who's in the Board of Members right now and gonna send him an email (he conveniently lives below us). She's asking him if he can bring it up during their next discussion.

but ever since this board thing, my mom has gotten a lot of low-lives enemies. even my friend's mom sorta dislikes my mom too. not as obviously and she hasn't done anything crazy, but just giving off those sorta awkward looks. they say hi but you know.. looks.

Sigh. -_-; we can't even move out since economy here is going down the drain lol and we just finished paying off the rent last year and refurnished our floors a few weeks ago so we ain't moving out soon.

I hope that this gets resolved. It's beyond a silly prank. But, yeah, I like the idea of being childlike, but this is beyond childish.

Awww sweetie! What grief you and your mom have been through to deal with all the stuff you have been going through. I really hope that you can get some proof that it will put an end to all that! How rude and disgusting does someone have to be to do that! Your poor mom to have to clean it up!

My mom works so hard so this is honestly the last thing she needs to deal with; a bunch of old hapless ladies who just wanna be a *$&*(@%

not to mention they all spread rumors before to.. which is prob why it's all dumb like this. i would assume though most of the neighbors knows my mom is a good woman, so they know those ladies are idiots, but blah who knows.

i hope this ends quick. i don't want this getting more out of hand. hate crime really.

Some people are just seriously immature and have nothing better to do with their lives then go round harrassing people/vandalising property!

It's a shame what the world has come to nowdays. You never used to have crime this bad like 40/50 years ago, people used to feel safe in their homes and could even leave their doors unlocked without having to worry and used to let their children play out knowing they were safe but you can't do that nowadays!

I don't think there's a sense of neighbourhood community anymore either because everyone used to know everyone years ago and used to look out for each other sort of thing but now people don't even know their neighbours!

That's a horrible thing to have happened.
I feel so sorry for your mom & your family.
She should totally go back on the Board and when she wins she should loby to have some security cameras put in the garrage. Then if something like this happens again there would be proof of who done it. And it would just be safer for everyone in your building.

I live in the biggest city in Canada (Toronto). I lived downtown for 9 years in a rental building and I knew most of my neighbors, even some on other floors!
Now I own a condo (well, we are still paying off the mortgage... but it's ours!) and I know the 2 neighbors next to me (a retired school teacher, and 2 student girls)
I think people being friendly depends allot on the neighborhood where you live. And how friendly people are... Then again, some people will look for trouble anywhere.

Yellow >> i only really know my friends who live in my area, but we all sorta stopped coming out since many moved away and it's just boring now. a lot of Koreans moved in here and while most like my mom, some just seem to want to be a *beep* for some reason. then again they are single hapless hags. i'm glad they don't have children lol.. and i can see why they are single. we do got security cameras in the garage, but they are facing the garage gate only since it is a pretty big garage, so putting a camera in every corner would be a bit hard. just yeah.. hope my mom can get some proof with the cameras already installed.

I know same here, I'm only 21 so didn't see life when it was safer and that but I've heard from parents/grandparents about it, shame we can't live like that
I agree, it seems a bit petty and ridiculous that 50/60 year old ladys would go around doing things like that! And its usually people of that age that blame bad behaviour on us youths
Hopefully they learn to grow up and act their ages, silly people!

They sure do. Exactly I'm sure they should have better things to be doing with their time instead of doing disgusting things like that lol.
They obviously didn't get chance to rebel as children/youths so they're doing it now they're older instead
