the cat is just rebelling against something. she's certainly not a kitten.. 12 years old.. just has her own mind sometimes

lol i spend the first hour of my day out there. drinking coffee, watching TV and facebooking, and smoking of course... very bad habit

and as bad as that cat can be, she is also very sweet. this morning she woke me up, good thing. I tested my sugar and was down to 65, no snack before bed last night

it's amazing what animals do for their owners. I read in newspapers this morning about dog who trained himself to know when his owner is about to have epilptic seizure and he starts jumping and barking to let her know. They said he can sense/smell the chemical changes in her body.

Oh i firmly believe that. This one comes and seems to check my breath.. Most times she leaves me alone after that... but sometimes, she just keeps rubbing against my head.. waking me full awake. Sure enough, I tested and was very low

does anyone do your job while you are gone... or will you have to come back to two weeks of work?

some of the stuff I do can be done by other people but some it's only me so yes I'm expecting lots of work when I return - I already have pile here that I should try to do today but i just told one of my bosses that I will unlikely finish it all today as I'm leaving early (45 minutes but it's still early)

nods... how much time will you have once you arrive at the airport? And how great that you live in an area with great public transportation. Chicago is like that.. but certainly not here in Ohio

if I catch the train I'm aiming for and there will be no problems I should be at the airport 1 hour 55 minutes before my flight is leaving - I rather sit at the airport and wait then miss the flight.

Back home however I will have to take a bus (20 minutes) then coach (2 1/2 hours) to get to airport.

not this airport - it's one of the small ones outside of London (it will take me an hour on train to get there) so there are handful of overpriced shops and (hopefully) one pub/bar with maybe few eating places. I have got a book and my iphone loaded with music so I should be alright.

Am concentrating on exams - or at least, I am trying to.
Today is the third day I'm having a massive headache. Painkillers won't help, so I'm guessing it's because I am getting sick or something. I started taking vitamins yesterday, hoping they will kick in soon, because my first exam is this Monday... Let's hope all goes well.

Had a lovely day last week playing in a client golf contest and actually tied my match against a guy who is WAY WAY better than me !
Had a BBQ the following day for 40 people - weather was rubbish though so thank goodness for gazebos and a very large hall and dining room LOL

Making a curry tonight - very low fat chicken tikka massala - yummy. So gonna have a beer etc.

Just droping quick note - flight was quick and I got home OK.
Unfortunately the weather here is not what I expected - even though it's warmer than London it's been raining a lot since I got here.

Sorry I wasn't around, having a quiet night over here myself (relaxing and trying to get rid of this headache... sigh)

I am back home! I am for over a month now, I just realized.
After my trip to the US I've only been home for 5 days (maybe, not even sure about that one), then left for the festival, which was hard on me because of the jet lag! The festival finished 2 weeks ago and since then I am back home, studying for resits/retakes.
I miss the States pretty badly (in general - I just love being there), I had a really wonderful time and miss my girls a lot!!

Glad you were able to stop by and I really hope you're doing okay!

Just had my first exam. Next one is this Wednesday.

Hi everyone!!

It has been slow in here lately. I guess RL is busy for us all. I have one more thing to do, then my life will settle down for a bit. OH and I are attending a wedding in a couple of weeks in Buffalo, NY. We are starting the trip in Toronto, Canada. I am so excited about seeing Niagara Falls!! I have never been this far north, so this is a first for me. I am also hoping to have some fall weather and maybe see some leaves turning. It has been so hot here this summer. Right now we are in the peak of what is usually our hurricane season. I can't tell you how many trips have been ruined the first week of Sept. because of a hurricane. So far this year, it has been fairly calm. We will see if it holds.

Well, good morning. It sure is quiet here...

Just letting you know I'm still alive, have my last exam tomorrow and after that am having lunch out (at Subway, mmmm) with my friend and we're gonna go shopping (cos I need a couple of things) AND ... we're going to the fair!!! I looove going to the fair, so am really looking forward to that!
Have made an entire schedule already with things I'm gonna do, and want to do. Like. Go to the hairdresser. It's about time my hair gets dyed again, cos I want to get rid of the blond pieces (although everyone keeps saying they look good on me...). Sis is also taking me out to a lot of things and am looking forward to just be out of the house again. During my time away I realized I love nothing better then being outside and doing things, so really looking forward to that! I'm a bit bummed lately spending my time inside the entire time...
And the good thing is the weather is finally turning out to be a bit better, August was really bad, and even though it's a bit chilly now sometimes, the sun is out and that is always a big plus!

Well, time to hit the books again.

Tuesday morning here, sure feels like a Monday, though. lots to do today and the rest of the week. getting ready for our vacation out west starting Friday. unfortunately, a dentist trip has to scheduled before then. lost a crown over the weekend, post and all. at least no pain, root canal on the tooth years ago.

bought a new lap top this weekend and it should be delivered tomorrow. am excited about that. but not looking forward to transferring everything. for once, though, was proactive, instead of losing files.

that's about it for me..now off to get some work done.

Hey everyone, sorry that I have not stopped by in a bit.... new rules at Hotel, and I can't get another the computer when Bee and otehrs are usually on.... so i guess i will ahve to drop by earlier and leave little updates.

Everything seems to be doing pretty well. My new meds have been doing me wonders. I start a different schedule next week, that will allow me to have at least one whole day off every week.

Still waiting on the apartmetn to get a different apartment for me.... getting kind of aggravted. Still can't believe they gave mine away to someone else. I guess if they do not have one at the end of this month I will be moving at the end of October at the latest..... kind of sucks, cause i was hoping to have a bit of a costume part in the new place... I love Halloween.
