My husband and I are amusing ourselves watching Brainiac DVDs, and they just said that one of the people weighs about 20 stone and another weighs 6.

My question is, how many kilograms is a stone?

1 stone is roughly 6.35 kg

so 20 stone would be about 127 kg and 6 stone is 38 kg

These measurements are like learning a foreign language! Do other countries use "stones"?
