I hope anyome who has traded with me ($ or in kind) have not felt this way but for their reasons choose not to say anything. I guess the reason I hunt is to try first looking for the stuff I want, and lookin for the models that buddies may want to trade with me. Also to kill off all this absurd pricing you see online..Anyhoo, I emphatize with you on that incident. I guess with all the recent posting you've moved on...great! Perhaps we may hv a chance to meet. But my friend say he did not even see him coming to the store. Many months later, met this same chap at Metro city sq. I seldom visit this store, the store assistant was recommending me other toys. Suddenly this chap appear. He is loud and says "hey i thought you tell me you work in Jurong!!" I dont really know this chap well and when did i ever work in Jurong? And he starts to give me names saying i am ... anyway the sales staff heard it all and can be my witness. The problem is when someone uses his mouth and say whatever he likes for his advantage. This is wrong. Most Hw collectors are not like that, this is the only one sad from my HW experience. I share this as i am not comfortable with the experience i had. But I will not mention the name of this collector or his username in this forum. Seriously i hope the next time i bump into this guy, he can understand how others feel by his actions. Yet me sum up your tales to keep your nose short and your comfort... 1st of all we meet on 03 Nov 2011 Thurs 2.40pm in Orchard Paragon Toys R Us. You told me then you work in Jurong and some times come to Orchard for meeting in Centerpoint, you told me that you completed 2011 Treasure Hunt and Super and you got spare TH Pontiac GTO to trade, hence we exchange hp no. ( I'm old...to supplement that I take note in my excel file in my phone to keep track of my cars and what trade people offer, by far during then, my top of the list is Pontiac GTO.....you agree to trade with me during then(03 Nov 2011)We made many sms to each other for 2 weeks for the trade and you always have excuse saying too busy, even if I offer go to your place....Here come the truth, Pinocchio your nose grow when you stories:-On 24 Nov 2011 4.20pm I went to Forum Toys R Us, saw the HW stocker, he told me that you already got to all Treasure Hunt for the day....Feel sad I went to the back of the store where the usually place their stock and I saw you, you were digging thru your last of BBU. On your hand you got the latest TH Ford GT and you told today me : no luck only found 1 TH and some cars and say you're on your way back. ( I'm always on time or I'll sms them if caught in traffic or work, Loke can be my witness ) When I was in TRU, I send many sms to you but you never reply, I waited till 12.30pm and have no choice to rush for work. Only around 1.15 pm then you reply me sms says that you are there and I never show up.....huh...hmm...stories after stories...1 month of arrangement becomes 2 hour short notice! It has make the case's much more simpler and easier to judge, you guys can figure out the experience, personality, attitude of the whole matter better now. Why the need to be so uptight and started to give people names and add characters, adding stories for personal advantages. Don't want to admit is ok, I know and no need to waste more time. Remembered the bad experience 6 mths ago and recently encounter it again with the same guy.
