Guest Guest Posted November 4, 2010 Get a packet of the wax ear plugs, (its very similar to what they give you when you have a brace to put over the metal, until the mouth hardens)You should be able to warm the wax between your fingers and push onto the tooth. Course its safe , what makes you think it is not ?I was quoting the film with Dustin Hoffman, "The Marathon Man" where the badie is drilling his tooth asking for answers and he keeps saying "is it safe, is it safe" Hoffman doesn't know the answer and everytime he stops drilling he gives him oil of gloves to stop it hurting before he starts again......FFS!!
