always1more 0 Posted November 11, 2010 Hello peeps [hows it hanging] Just mooching around the net here trying to decide whever to opt for the electrolyte acid battery [i'm old skool lol] or the newer gel type. Trying to find information which is better of the two.Any ideas please ?Busters are on flebay selling acid ones at a reasonable price.Baring in mind I don't have much ££££s to spend on expensive battery's.Tim. firehawk 0 Posted November 11, 2010 @yankeedoodle wrote:id go acid unless i specifically needed a gel one do you have one sorted for your project? i know that sometimes it can be a pain finding one that fits somewhere. there was one advertised in fast bikes mag that is small and round and can be mounted anywhere. they are also user serviceable. the downside is that they are £
yankeedoodle 0 Posted November 11, 2010 yes mate i have a gel for my project because it might be lying down. nice and compact but f**king heavy!I have looked at various "race batteries" which are nice and small, like you say, but I havent got that sort of money at the moment.definitely something to invest in in the future though
