Yes you can I don't know the technical stuff, but i had some chroming done last year and he could do a silver chrome a blue chrome or a gold chrome, the guy was based in Hinckley did a lot of classic car stuff.

Rose, take a look in your local Yellow Pages for Electroplaters. It's often worth a personal visit-I got to know the lads at Baddeley's in Nottingham & used to take stuff down on the QT. Might save you a couple of bob but shouldn't cost an arm & a leg anyway.

Hi rose,
I've taken him off my favourites and tried googling can't find him.
Got his phone number though, 01455 637921
His work was good but not very fast.
I don't think it's something special to him its more to do with the electrolysis or sommat, that means they can do different things, I had steel and alloy parts chromed.
