im looking at some other downpipes which do away with the exup cause i cant source any new types to fit it, question is would you keep or do away with it and whats the pros and cons? can anyone help

you might loose bottom end torque due to loss of back pressure created by the valve.

I would say def yes ,
Thats why theyve only got 5 gears all that low down tourqe with the exup.
I would imagine on a track fair enough but on the road you dont want it all at the top end.

got off work early today so spent afternoon stripping and re greasing the exup,all the fixings undid easy but one of the cables is a bit frayed,not sure where to get one so might have to get one made up.
