Zip help

When I brought my leather jacket it came with both parts of the zip so you could sew the other half in to your trousers, where can i find another zip the same so i can sew the other half in to another pair of trousers ? So as my jacket will zip to two pairs of different trousers,

Try the market Dave. A decent haberdasher should sort you out thumbs BTW a shoe repair place might be worth asking about fitting it as sewing leather is a bit of a specialist job. Smile

there should be a standard zip size as all bike gear is different,the suggestions off lizzy and jack should be worth a try,is the missus any good at sewing?

Oh and when you sew in the zip avoid using a 100% cotton thread 'cause it usually frays and breaks quite easily. I'd recommend a duel duty thread around 37% cotton, 63% polyester. thumbs
