Guest Guest Posted April 22, 2011 I've been over in France for the week. As our lad has gone on a school trip we took the opportunity to ride over for the first time.We broke the outward journey up and stayed out side Rouen. The journey back we did in a onner, 684 miles in 16 hours. So a an Iron butt 24hrs thousand miles is doable for me.Things I'd do different, more water and less coffee, water is more important than a hot drink. Charge my bluetooth on the way, ran out of power UK side and was struggling with the noise. Make sure you have do have good plugs as they trully are a must, I would have struggles with the fatique more without them. Oh and UK care drivers are pratts (not all), especially the one coming out of the train joining the motorway who tried to cut me up. Thanks only to my shoulder check am I here and good acelleration on the bike. He then proceeded to go round me and slam on his brakes, tosser, Karma will get him...So there you have it..
