Grumpyowl 0 Posted April 22, 2011 Got my new bike delivered last night and they took my B12K6 away in PX.Too late to go for a ride other than round the block. so wired up the Bat charger and Sat Nav good clean etc.Suzuki Hayabusa 2010 L0 Blue with just 900 miles on her.absolutly standard.A vitual new bike with about a £3k saving.Just done a little 80 mile round run through to Bakewell, Buxton, Cat and Fiddle, back down Via Gellia into Matlock Bath and through Chatsworth and home.Blumming Heck what a bike, the growl from the airbox is adictive. The low down tourque is Immence, It pulls away past cars In 6th like I was in 3rd on the Bandit. It corners like its on rails I can't get over this bike Absolutly Blooming Awsome. And I know this thread is useless without piccies I'll get some posted up tomorrow .I'm going to keep this bike forever (honest)

Grumpyowl 0 Posted April 23, 2011 @stantheman wrote:is it as comfortable as the bandit was mate Its different,on the move I would say yes, the biggest difference for me was the hight of the pegs I kept missing them when setting off from junctions after putting my foot down surprising how high they are considering the length of the hero blobs they could have been made lower I think. And after telling her indoors I'm keeping this one standard love (honest)Over winter when I've saved up I think I'll put some Helibars on I've got to research prices think there about $123 from the States and they are about 2" higher and about an1" further back. But first impressions will have to lose a bit of weight to enjoy Her better and that can't be a bad thing.. smilinjack 0 Posted April 23, 2011 Grumpy, there's a company in the UK does bar risers for a lot of bikes but can't remember the name. Something like mototouring. They did nice aluminium ones for a spit under £100. I'll see if I can find it & post you a link Bit more than I thought. Anyway, two kits, 19mm & 38mm raise.http://www.sportouring.com/part.php?itemGroup=2&bikeModel=GSX1300%20-%20Hayabusa%202008%20%20%20%20%201%201/4%20inchhttp://www.sportouring.com/part.php?itemGroup=2&bikeModel=GSX1300%20-%20Hayabusa%202008%203/4%20inchActually no, the ZZR1200 fitting is £89.99. Thing with the 'Busa is it's effectively a complete top yoke.
