E.goldstein 0 Posted June 27, 2011 A FIRE has gutted the 54,000sqft warehouse of M&P Motorcycles in Gorseinon, Swansea. The fire was reported to the authorities at 23:30 on Saturday 25th June and by midnight, eyewitnesses said that almost three-quarters of the building was ablaze.Steve Bryant from Mid West Wales Fire and Rescue said the fire developed very quickly and required the services to work throughout the night to ensure that the fire didn't move to a furniture warehouse next door. Thankfully, no-one was injured in the blaze. The fire is only a couple of miles away from the old Mettoys factory in Fforessfatch which caught fire on the 16th of June, burning thousands of tyres. It is still burning today. An investigation is being launched into the fire at M&P Motorcycles, meanwhile M&P have closed their website and Busters, another motorcycle mail-order company, have also closed their website as they share the same warehouse as M&P.Read more: http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news-industry/huge-fire-guts-mandp-motorcycles-in-swansea/18403.html#ixzz1QTi4VMrPE.goldstein “they watching you”!
