Valve clearances

I did them today and only had to adjust a couple as they were in spot on.But was concerned about the markings you had to line up, they looked like this,




The latter looks like it doesnt line up but according to the book its right Huh



But all done and fine.

i think it could be a bit of backlash in the chain, when under load they prob line up better. in fact if i remember right mine was the same,

Your probaly right as when started up she purrs but i wont notice the differance as hardly had to adjust them. thumbs

cam lobes look gud too mine had a few scores on em....


Yeah they were mint rob and i got the gasket back on first go, i was glad of that bounce

Always daunting first time I've done like 8 diferent bikes now. Need to do mine again soon

nice one its not bad on the bandit as its tappets . but on the RF and most Suzuki,s with cams , its a cam out job and that is a pain in the ass , and a good few hours work ,
