Macie_UK 0 Posted November 29, 2011 It comes down to impairment of ability to control the vehicle apparently. When a colleague at work did his left leg, the firm did a load of checking and he was OK to drive if the got him an auto. When I did my right leg, it was a definite no-go so they set me up from home for 3 months I guess that as it's your right (with no gear changes involved) then as long as you have enough movement to do what you normally do - grip the wheel and turn it - then it's not really impairing your ability. Tony nitrous 0 Posted November 29, 2011 I rode with my right wrist/lower arm in plaster for a while.Only down side was I couldnt get my leatherover it and had to wear some 80's style paddock jacket,...and I had to lean forward and lift my whole arm up to shut the throttle at traffic lights!....
