Driving with my wrist in plaster ?

Best bet is to ring the insurance company mate and ask em thumbs cant be to careful these days mate thumbs

It comes down to impairment of ability to control the vehicle apparently. When a colleague at work did his left leg, the firm did a load of checking and he was OK to drive if the got him an auto. When I did my right leg, it was a definite no-go so they set me up from home for 3 months Very Happy

I guess that as it's your right (with no gear changes involved) then as long as you have enough movement to do what you normally do - grip the wheel and turn it - then it's not really impairing your ability. Still worth an email to your insco though to check their take on it.

I rode with my right wrist/lower arm in plaster for a while.

Only down side was I couldnt get my leather
over it and had to wear some 80's style paddock jacket,

...and I had to lean forward and lift my whole arm up to shut
the throttle at traffic lights!.... Laughing
