PLEASE HELP, major problem!

Need help, my koso speedo is being a complete arse! The indicator light on the speedo stays on even though the indicators are off, same with the neutral light when the bike is in 1st, the highbeam we didnt even get connected, any one know why this is happening ? The bike i have is a fzr 400 3tj 1990

The wires are all connected up like it says on the diagram.

sounds like the wires are the wrong way round,chances are this is happening as your bike wiring works by switched earth

try swopping the wires round

would probably help more if you have a wiring diagram for the bike,and could post some pics

of the clock wiring diagram

And Lee, do i put the black wire to the ignition and earth the red wire from the battery ??? Or will that blow the speedo up ?

ash are you wiring the lights up to the original warning light wiring on the bike

cant see the last diagram

the only reason I can think off why you have this problem

is that the wiring is connected to a permanent live when the ignition is on

you could do with a multimeter or test light to find which is live when you turn the indicators on ect ect

Okay, so when I got told this I went quite red... Not sure if you will find it as funny or as stupid as I did, all I pretty much needed to do was to plug the indicators in to make a full circuit -_- the only thing that isnt working yet is the 'N' light, it stays on when in gear, but should have i sorted Thursday....

So all the stressing and extra work I put in trying to get to work, and how close i was to paying some one 40quid and hour to wire speedo was all because I needed the indicators pluged in, what a I was haha.

Still feel stupid haha.

Also got my air box problem sorted, I was trying to put a 400 filter box on 600 carbs :')

Bought the 600 box off Chad and what you know pretty much goes on with a wiggle, so I wont be on 33bhp untill I buy the 400 carbs
