Hi After long hard concideration I recon one of these would do may be a few slight alterations and some sperex black heat paint or red oxide would match the Bandit as well!
Way to go in it!

for my two penneth i'd say go with Yoshi

I was looking what to put on the Hayabusa and ended up with Yoshi cans and am I glad I did superb quality and fit and the bike runs like a dream with no mods needed.

Not the cheapest option Dave, but for long term they will be, (buy cheap buy twice)

in some cases it might well be true.. but yoshimura are not the best for the bking, not the ones suzuki will sell you thats for a fact. Look around for ones in your price range, GPR cans are cracking bits of kit, not the cheapest, on par with yoshi with price but are deffo as good. for price, quality, looks and sound i would say go with two brothers

If and when I put can's on mine its down
to a 3 name short list.

Yoshi's.
Had them on a few bikes, got them on my
Busa and Bandit. Always been a fan.

Bodis.
Best looking can for a B-King in my eyes.

Staintune.
Probably the one i'll go with if I keep the
BK as my "legal" bike. The cop's have a clamp
down on some of the area's I ride in and the
Staintune is the only 100% legal db can.
Still quiet but less ugly than stock.

Local guy had a stock B-King with nothing
but quite expensive dual Yoshi can's fitted.

My bike was totaly stock.

Both similar age, history, condition.

Mine made 1hp MORE on the dyno than his !

His air/fuel ratio was VERY similar too mine,
it did not need a remap or tune up.

Seen this more than once. Tells me that the
bike takes well to just can's and fueling
should be OK. Also makes me think that with
the restictive front pipes, catalitic converter
and EXUP valve, your not going to get many
extra pony's from just can's.

There is a good reason for that, the yoshimura cans suzuki will sell you are more for looks than performance, yes there made by Yoshi ( japan not USA, hence quieter! ) but there very restrictive compared to true after market yoshimura's

Couple of things to think about...

* Dont waste money on a power commander.
There is nothing they can do that a "flash"
or re-map on the stock ECU wont match.
Quite the opposite. The stock ECU can be told
to do features a power commander cant.

Full Systems.
* Not sure about the UK, but all big modern
bikes are coming out with catalitic converters.
Cop's out here have realised they can do roadside tests
with a mobile "sniffer" and issue a defect notice.
Might not be an issue now, but our law's are quite similar.

I've ran JAP and USA Yoshi's back to back
on both my Busa's and swapped them between
bikes. The difference was not noticeable to
me or my dyno operator.

The B-King may be different though.
The dual outlet (2 can's, 4 outlets) can's
sold by Yoshi in the UK arent available in
the US or Australia, so outright performance
may not have been a high priority, just looks,
not that B-King can's seem very resticive anyway. The B-Kings restrictions seem to be
more in the mid pipe cat/EXUP although the
front pipes could be a little bigger too.

the only reason i was thinking of new cans was for the sound , I like the look of the standard cans Embarassed also spoke to my dealer and he said as long as it can be put back to standerd if the was ever a problem with the warranty there was no problem

Couple of owners have found if you remove
the end cap's off the aftermarket can's
(Yoshi's i think... i'll check) you can refit
the huge factory tupperware cannon's back over them.

Im the opposite Dave. Hate the look's but
want to keep at least one bike legal as
my "Get out of Jail free card"

Apart from the different finishes,
Yoshi do 2 different TYPES of can's
for the B-King.

Although if I was buying on looks
it would have to be the BODIS can...

I like the Brock's sidewinder pipes.

The tail looks great without the can's under it,
they give real good performance,
only problem for me is....

they are LOUD AS F@CK!!... Laughing

Even if the cop's left me alone, they'd give me
a headache and no one would ride with me!

Its good for me here at the momment.
An Aussie $ buy's over a US $, so I pay
less than the US listed price.

Anything I can get past custom's "valued"
at under $1000 there's no import tax.

Anything I buy from the UK I dont pay your
VAT or our GST(Aussie VAT)/Import tax.

I can buy US Yoshi can's or UK Renthal bar's
at around 50% of our shop prices!

P.S. Our VAT is 10%.... thumbs
