just got new red log book for my bandit from dvla, they are replacing every bike and car log book because they had a batch of blank blue log books nicked.THIS MUST BE COSTING A FORTUNE no doubt they'll be putting up road tax to pay for. fecking useless barstewards.

Yebbut, they are saving squillions by doing away with the old style printed MOTs and just using plain paper.

ive had red for ages, but saying that only blue ones ive had were on my 50 and 125 as after that it changed.

Yeah got the new ones on bike & car. Yes dead easy to copy, as are downloadable insurance cover notes, but in this day and age it doesn't matter because any plod will check the PNC records anyway. Apparently one doesn't get the old "1,3 & 4" producers anymore (so small child tells me).

Add digital if a car has tax but no mot they can still do ya, and can get a letter in post as its all on computer. Won't fully kick in till 2013 or something.
